In a moment of desperation after an MVA at work, I turned to a friend who was a part of North Shore Law. He met with me to help me understand all of my available options and to outline how he could help take the stress of Work Safe and ICBC off my shoulders, so that I could focus on getting better. Overall, the service was good and the advice solid. I was prepared well for my examination of discovery and honestly informed throughout the entire process. All the staff involved were helpful, from the receptionist to the partners, and when I needed medical treatment, this was dealt with swiftly to minimise my time suffering. The one downside for me was that the paralegal on my case changed several times throughout the 3.5 years of negotiation and, during the switches, responses to my inquiries were slow. Whether this is the norm, or just an unlucky draw for me, I can't say. Regardless, I'd definitely recommend the practice to anyone seeking legal assistance. They are a well-established firm with the resources in place to help you get what you deserve.

At first Abel was highly professional and the Firm had been highly recommended. But once he felt like it wasn't gonna just be easy money and he had to actually file a lawsuit and prove his case he dropped me. Violating both his Professional Rules of Conduct and ABA guidelines. This is ethically unprofessional and a ABA Complaint will be filed.

Based on a recommendation from a close friend who is also a recently retired member of the provincial judiciary, I sought out Ms Jaime Ashby personally to assist with some estate planning and the preparation of some significant documentation in that regard. Largely owing to circumstances related to the pandemic, my dealings with Ms Ashby covered a period of 11 months. Throughout the entire time Ms Ashby's information, guidance and counsel and the final production of the documents I sought was first rate in every way and by any measure. For any assistance with estate planning or administration I highly recommend Ms Ashby. Thank-you very much Jaime for all your excellent work and assistance.
