I was referred to Hollis Lucky by another law firm as a result of a potential conflict situation. I had a reasonably serious bicycle accident with, in my view, a good portion of the blame residing with the other party. I had no success dealing directly with the offending party and at least one other law firm expressed disinterest in my situation. Hollis reviewed the situation, we arrived at a plan for dealing with the matter and we were successful in achieving a resolution that satisfied me. Throughout the process, Hollis was professional, gave excellent advice when appropriate and was extremely cost effective. The staff were attentive and dealt with matters very expeditiously. In summary, I would not hesitate to use Hollis and his firm for conflict matters and would refer others to him and know that they would be well served.

Alert: I have no clue how this office gets 5 stars! I feel they are to busy giving themselves 5 stars because I have tried to make an appointment with this office 3 times within a 3 week period and each time they have taken my info and assured me that I would get a phone call back but that has never happened. It is coming to 4 weeks and I'm still waiting for a phone call back. It is very unprofessional in my opinion to say they will call back when they have no intention of doing so. I would not recommend this law firm unless you feel like being disrespected and ignored.

Hollis Lucky's law firm is a disgrace to the law. His firm allowed my children to have a zero contact bail condition in place while I had a Supreme Court Order and custody of my 3 tween children. My charge was assault on my 12 year old for taking her cell phone. Hollis refuses to plead mr guilty initially because I was not. Then during a trial he stated the only way to see my children was to plead to taking her phone and hitting her in the arm. I did not ever hit my child. I ended up listening to him as I was panicked because my children were being abused verbally and mentally and MCFD had written a safety plan that hollis stated in court to the judge that it trumped the bail so there was no need to change it. Judge Challenger disregarded the existing court order of custody and she destroyed a family of exceptionally great kids who were on the honor role and air cadets and 3rd year hockey teams and French Immersion. Hollis was lazy. I had affidavits and even a medical doctor willing to take the stand to ensure contact with my kids. Hollis refused. Hollis insisted that a very dated criminal record be submitted from 20 years ago. He failed to attend court for my plea. He sent someone else. He then hired his own lawyer to hide behind and caused further delay in my court. I was in jail for 5 days for sending my children a ???? ???? emoji. I was in jail for 17 days looking for another lawyer for getting a Supreme Court temporary 7 day order to move my kids in with me because 2 had ran from dad and were living back in Squamish and signed up in councelling and air cadets and seeing there doctor. Hollis will not stand up to judge challenger and he will not argue the law. He blatantly ignored court orders and I had my own administrative review dinebof thevsafty plan written by mcfd and it wS found illegal and not valid but that took 10 months. My 2 kids are alienated and in drugs and my 13 year old is now a father. My oldest child is traumatized and suffers bigger anxiety issues. I was forced to plead guilty to bumping my child on a doorway and I stated to Hollis that I suffer balance issues and I have now been recently diagnosed with Seki circular canal dehiscence and Hollis did not argue this.. I had my witness for my trial and text messages and Hollis absolutely destroyed my family with his family inappropriate handling of my case and not representing facts and I spent nearly a month in jail for taking my child's cell phone and having a balance disorder and an angry teenager who thought the grass was greener with her dad who had supervised access. I have psychological assessments of my ex that state he should have limited contact with kids. I do not understand why Hollis lucky is allowed to mislead a client and still practice law. He emailed me saying he would not allow me to plead guilty and then he told me to plea guilty if you wanted to see my kids who had run away from there Dad. My community lost good kids. The blatant disregard for existing court orders under the divorce act were ignored. Judge challenger called them dated and to have zero contact with a 11,12,13 year old for over a year who had a dog and a great structured life and were raised by mom is insane to be placed in new schools in north Vancouver without my consent was not in any child's best interest. No trial and judge challenger would laugh and say oh well Zero contact because there must be a child protection concern somewhere. If Hollis Lucjy could not even get a bail condition lifted for a child who had stated the truth and NO ASSAULT occurred and kept me in jail for 5 days when I had specialist appointments for my SCCD that I missed, then I can't imagine him being able to properly perform for anyone. My family is destroyed because Hollis refused to try and change a bail condition to allow for any access with my kids. The seriousness of our flawed systems and this corrupt liar and law firm should be noted. I would not recommend this firm. Not ever.

Pej was responsible for my file and if it wasn't for his work, I would not be where I am today. Not only with my case, but in general with life. I felt that he truly cared about my case and put every ounce of effort to do whats best for me. He walked me through every step of the way, always kept me informed of every little detail, and truthfuly answered any questions i had about the case. I felt that I could truly trust him to do whats best for me to a point where I wouldn't even question his judgement. At the start of this all I was looking for was a lawyer but I also made a friend.
