Lawyer Mr. Robert Evans supported me legally in fighting for the protection of my children in the face of a relentless and aggressive relative of my ex who was demanding access to my children as soon as my ex was issued a protection order stating no access direct or indirect. The said relative, undermined the abuse the children had experienced, and she acted to fascilitate breaches to my ex's protection order. Mr. Evan's was efficient and helpful in putting the evidence together. He took the time to draw out the other party's points of argument, and cunningly noted discrepancies with the truth of which evidence exposed as well as her own self- contradictions. Then he always ended court in a most quick-witted and timely manner that silenced the other party. It was exciting and relieving to observe though suspenseful at times. Throughout almost two years of battling this side case, Mr. Evans proved more relentless on my children's behalf than the opposing party could dare even dream to be, and thus provided the judge with every reason she would need, to grant a victory to my firm view as my children's protector. The outcome of the judge's final decision ended up being good for the children presently and in future. I am forever grateful that I had counsel from Mr. Robert Evan's and highly recommend him as a lawyer worth having on your side. Mr. Evan's seemed to know the fine points of the law and swiftly and effectively communicated them at the perfect moments. He impressed me as one of the most intelligent people I have ever encountered. Mr. Evan's savvy of law, well-founded confidence and people skills, as well as general high intelligence, patience, and wisdom, and quick-wittedness, made it possible to uphold my children's rights and my dignity and rights as their guardian in the face of someone who once teamed with my ex in bullying me and my children severely. At times it felt that the other party was having their moments of victory, but only for Mr. Evan's to drop a final word that changed everything and gave the judge what she needed to do what was right. Such perseverance was required. It was good for my self-esteem and healing from that abusive situation for my children and myself, to be represented by such a solid lawyer. A God-send is truly how we regard him. If he was not my lawyer for this side case, I am certain we would have been very well off with Mr.Evans representing us on the greater case of protection directly against the abuser. He was worth trusting, valued my communication, uphelp my dignity, and essentially protected my children from certain unneeded troubles or retraumatization from the angle from which they were subtly or blatantly being targetted here. I was referred to a few different lawyers and like many I did my reviews on all them. I eventually went with Kevin Quong. After meeting Kevin I was still unsure as I am always second guessing my choice but I felt I made the right choice this time as he seemed to have good knowledge of family law and was focused on detail that he can use to help my case. He was always punctual, thorough and remembered all minor details. It did involve a lot of info and document sending but now I can see why he required it as this helped me save in the long run. He was able find details that I did not think to realize about potentially saving me thousands of dollars. At times my case got complicated but he was able to keep calm and collected.
