Stephen Glanzberg worked on my cohabitation agreement and did a good job. When it went to my wife's lawyer a clause was added. Stephen did not agree to it. He explained why and I understood. Both my wife and I set out the terms and agreed to them. It was win win versus leaving it entirely to BC law. The Cohabitation agreement needed his signature to become valid. This is where it went wrong. He "formatted" the document without permission and decided to charge me $500 instead of the $300 we agreed upon via email. He also wanted a waiver of liability freeing himself from my ability to come back at him. Since I approached him to sign the document this was confusing to me. Stephen was professional to start then quickly devolved to being unreasonable and difficult to work with. The Cohabitation agreement is useless with out it being signed by a lawyer. I now have to go find another lawyer to get this completed. I cannot recommend Stephen Glanzberg and the company Clarkwoods LLP.

Previous to my experience with Clark Woods llp I was represented by another lawyer in a different matter. It wasn’t a bad experience but that’s all I had to go off of.
