I did find the completion of the Will form frustrating as more times than I'd like care to remember I was redirected to windows I did not want to be in. Section 7 was particularly frustrating. I think the program could be improved but it does not distract from the personal. Even with completing this form, when I clicked on "Learn more" , nothing happened.

Once I get into the program and start filling it out, I find out there is 3 documents I have to pay 30$ each to access access use to COMPLETE my will. So I am pretty unhappy about the secret pay wall halfway through the process. I hardly wanna bother finishing, I could've spent $300 with a real lawyer and known my will would exist when I die. There is no guarantee that this Legal Will site will even exist by the time I die, let alone the "online vault" I've paid for with all my important documentation.

I really liked this program. Very professional and easy to use. It surpasses anything a lawyer could provide. Using a series of questions you walk through the entire process. Then you can view your document at any time and go back and make changes if it's not quite what you wanted. You can also go in and out so you aren't locked in to finishing it in one sitting. In addition to the Will, Living Will and Power of Attorney, I really like the added features for things like funeral arrangements which included a section on who to call when you pass and a Notes area to put information about your bank accounts, investments, or anything else. For the cost of this service there is no longer an excuse not to have a Will. I inquired at a few law firms and for an average couple the cost was in the range of $600 and higher. In searching online, yes there were others, however not only did I find LegalWills.ca to be the best priced, but they let you do a dry run of your will, which takes around 5 minutes, so you can test-drive it before you decide to buy. They also have special pricing if you enroll a spouse/partner. It's a good piece of mind for a low cost, and I highly recommend them. And now.... onto the Power of Attorneys.

LegalWills is a great service that I found on Groupon and got an amazing price. Very comprehensive and easy to complete, with the awesome wizard that asks you the proper legal questions to complete your will. In addition, you can also complete a living will, power of attorney, your funeral arrangement requests, and a few others I haven’t tried. You can print the documents yourself, request other options like having the document mailed to you and this company also stores them for you. My groupon included one year storage, but you can upgrade for a longer term storage at a nominal fee, which I may do later. I also had a few questions so I emailed their customer support. I received quick and informative replies from Vivian. She took the time to read my queries and answered in a timely and friendly manner. Great customer support which is uncommon these days. Obviously this service is much cheaper than a lawyer would charge and I highly recommend it if you need to make a will and/or other documents mentioned above and are on a budget.

Overall this was a very quick and easy way to write a will. The wording of the final document was a little off but it had more to do with my special circumstances rather than a flaw in the actual online tool. LegalWills.ca allows you to make as many changes as you need/want, this let's you see how your instructions appear in the final document and you can go back to make changes that are more suitable for the structure of the will. I'll get a lawyer to review my will at some point but having all the basics down in one place is a great start. I bought a Groupon a year ago for legalwills.ca ... Unfortunately this did not include the ability to PRINT YOUR WILL. As in, thanks, I created a useless will online that I can look at for a year but is simply no good to me. In my opinion, this is at best, misleading. It will cost you an additional $40 in membership to simply print your will. Understanding that wills cost significantly more to create than what I've paid keeps the review at 3 stars instead of worse. Creating a will WAS a seamless process, however the options of subscriptions for every little detail left a sour taste in my mouth. Even so, the hassle of sorting through subscription options was probably worth the savings long term though no doubt if I need to make changes they'll reach both hands into my pocketbook for that too.

It was relatively simple to write the will, although I jad done most of it quite a while ago and just completed it recently, after I received notification that my account was expiring. I had worked on the assumption that I could revist this anytime on line to make chages in the future but onviously this is only valid for a specific period and requires renewal and further payment. I also took advantage of the funeral arrarrangements part of the program which is a little strange, since I want to be cremated and once that info is entered, there should not be any need for the questions regarding burial, casket etc etc. that portion needs to be refined and retuned. It is as simple as answering the questions that go through your head. You do a bit at a time, at a pace you feel comfortable with. I can have anyone I want look at it prior to signing the final copy just by creating a PDF and sending it to them by email for review. The bonus of having a central place to store everything is a great addition. I have searched for documents when relatives have passed away and it was not fun. I never want my kids to have to do that. Legalwill.ca is where they will find all the important information to make it simple! The fact I can have a lawyer review my will for a small fee gives me extra peace of mind.

Really simple to use website and great value. It took me less than 20 minutes to create a will and I was able to go back and make a changes for free when I noticed a mistake. There are additional features like the ability to specify funeral wishes, and sharing important documents and messages with loved ones after your death. I did not use these yet but probably will in the future. My only slight criticism is on the importing of data for a mirror will. I thought that it would be smart enough to create the document and flip the names (her name to mine etc) but it doesn't. It literally copies your entire will meaning you basically have to do the 20 minute process again to make sure all the names and titles are right. This is a small problem and does not impact my rating. Just make sure you double check every detail of the mirror will if you use this service (which of course, you should be doing anyway!). I would recommend this service.

I am divorced and have no children so I questioned the expense of utilizing a lawyer to write a will for me. All of my beneficiaries fortunately appear to be in relatively stable situations with access to more resources than I can provide. Having recently experienced the death of a relatively young beneficiary I need a will I can update as required. Some of my beneficiaries may develop needs in the future I should consider in the terms of my will. Again going to a lawyer every time there is a change could become expensive. Having no immediate family establishing a power of attorney and personal health directives was critical for me. The site was easy to navigate and I was able to print a will and associated documents the same day. The wisdom of my choice will only become apparent after I become incapaciated or die but for now I am satisfied.

Hello Friends- My wife and I purchased a package from legal wills which included the will, power of attorney, living will and my life locker. This is the greatest and most unselfish thing you can do for your family while you are still living. Review the package and the documents and they are so simple to complete. To be honest, I thought is was too simple, it wouldn't meet the legal standard. Then I reviewed the save copy and clearly outlined in print were all the legal terms and language. If you accumulated a fair amount of wealth in your life then the process to complete the documents obviously takes longer. If you are starting out in life and own few assets then the process to complete is shorter. The thing I like most is the life locker and that takes time to complete but, it should take time because this document outlines all your wealth, specific, detailed and most important. At a glance, your loved ones can see your investments, bank accounts, credit cards, detailed property like cars, boats, etc.. This is a living document making changes as you acquire, alter and delete your assets. I don't work for the company. I don't have a relative who works for the company. I just bought a package, completed the steps and now I can be sure my wife and kids are not hinder with red tape when I die.. Thanks so much...Dan

This is a very easy process and provides a very slick looking document. I went to a notary first, paid $500 for a will and then found that I needed to make one small change. The change was going to cost another $500. Here I can change when I want with no additional cost. I have every confidence in the final document. They also offer an opportunity to discuss more complex questions. There is a way to provide a third party with access to your documents after you die, I didn't use this but might in the future. I also like the feature where you can send a message to some folks after you die. Really wanted one last message from some of my loved ones.
