Im not sure about the negative reviews but I can say that my experience was good. After Reading May Tasi review, I was concerned but to my relief, my experience was not like May Tasi. I had a real estate purchase with Shaikh Law. Most of the work was done by Mr. Naimesh who was in touch with me at all times. We had a complication in our file but it was resolved by Namiesh and Mr. Shaikh. I spoke to Mr. Shaikh over the phone but I never met him. becuase he was held up in Court. I can only speak for myself and for me it was important to close my deal rather than meeting Mr. Shaikh. The Job was done by the team and I am very happy with the service.

Had a rough path with Sheikh law corporation. Closing was getting delayed. It was not due to the law firm but previous titles were not cleared properly . I believed every law firm ensures mortgage is discharged and the tile is kept clean but that was not true in my case. Once i took the issue to Mr. Ali Sheikh, he patiently listened to my heated words, gave his personal attention and closed the matter amicably. He even gave refund when i asked him if he can waive the additional charges incurred to clean up the mess due to previous charges on the title. I have never met Mr Ali Sheikh but he was fair and trustworthy from the time I contacted him. I will definitely recommend him to my friends for any real estate law issues whether it is simple or complex one.

My real estate experience was smooth with Shaikh Law. I filled all the information online, then I just went once to sign all the papers. I got my Sale proceeds deposited into my account. I did not have to do a lot of running around. They are good with technology. I would highly recommend them. I liked the fact that I could sign my papers after office hours. I work from 9 to 5, Monday to Friday. Naimesh was more than willing to accommodate my concerns and stayed back at the office till 6pm only for me. I would give these guys a fully 5 stars rating. Contacted this firm about a prenuptial agreement. They had me fill out their intake forms and retainer agreement. They stopped responding to me after that. Never responded to my emails or messages I left on their phone. This was with the Mississauga branch I believe. I suppose the price was too good to be true. Or perhaps my case was too complex for the fixed price, but I would have appreciated a "no" instead of not knowing whether I was going to receive help or not.

My biggest regret in the whole process of purchasing a new house was choosing this law office. I went with them based on seemingly good reviews (?) and location (Mississauga) but what a mistake. In what was already a stressful process, this was the worst part of the whole thing. To be fair, I never met Ali the lawyer, so can't comment there (although this itself seems like a problem). I only dealt with the incompetent office manager, who was polite enough during our initial call to get the business but was all downhill after that. Zero communication from the start. Not even to confirm receipt of the client intake form (as stated on their website that they would), and when called to follow up, was scolded for calling and told that they only contact you if information is needed. When we finally got to meeting for signing the paperwork, the documents were incomplete and attachments were missing which were suppose to be reviewed and confirmed before signing. The property address on the documents wasn't even spelled correctly. No good explanation except that they were forgotten. Limited explanation as to what each document was unless prompted and questioned. Even asked if I wanted to deposit the bank draft of balance owing myself into their account instead of having them do this. As I was reviewing documents, the guy seemed more interested in checking his phone and chewing his gum. I've met been met with such a lack of professionalism. Also, it turns out they don't have a finished office in Mississauga and primarily work out of Oakville. If you insist on meeting in Mississauga location since this is where you thought they were located (like myself as I don't drive), you will be meeting in an empty office or lobby of building. Don't get suckered in by their claim of having the lowest fees in town, you end up paying for it in other ways like the more costly title insurance that they will purchase (and likely get a kick back for). If you want any peace of mind and confidence that the job will get done right, stay far from this place.
