I didnt know about his skill set in start but as he talked to my father when my father was hand folded humbly talking and he replied with F**** word without any reason, i knew right way i met a worst human being. About law, he referred my case with comparison to a case he is looking after which is somehow 10 years old same case and he is charging 3500 for that one letter to type whereas when i asked about if the law i am referring to does even existed before 2 years at all and he had no answer but using word f*** again. He might be good to coincidences but our experience with him is one of worst. If someone wants any proof of what i am saying, anybody can ask him video of his office of 6.pm to end where we left, specially end on date 19th april 2016. He shouldnt have done this to my father atleast. We never hired him. We were their just for recommendations and he might have said that its not his case type and passed it on. But he chose to insult and used bad words.

My parents received PR. When we were at the Port of entry we filled out an application with a mistake that turned out to dismissal (deportation order) because the Immigration said it is misleading. We had to go to the dismissal hearing. A friend of mine recommended me immigration lawyer Sweta Tejpal. John Kalina, along with his sarcastic comments and rude behavior is extremely sluggish and least dedicated lawyer I have ever experienced. I hired him to submit my mothers supervisa application and it got rejected. He is not to be blamed for the result because I know that totally depends on reasons we cannot always comprehend. However, he is to be blamed for major discrepancies in the application forms and supporting documents. For starters the - passport number on the form was incorrect. - address field of a family member in the family information form was left blank. AND!! - He overlooked the mandatory health insurance policy that needed to be purchased and submitted along with the application. YES! he is to be blamed for not thoroughly checking the information in the forms and the supporting documents. When confronted he blamed my mother for not checking before signing the documents and that I am angry because the visa got denied. I will be moving the Law Society of Ontario to indulge in this matter. While I do so, please save yourself time, money and energy and choose a lawyer who is as adamant about doing the application the right way on the first attempt as he is about taking your money!

Beware this lawyer, Sweta Tejpal. I found her from google and thought 4.4 star is a good review and decides to hire her, layer found that the review is for both person, not only her. Or maybe are wrote by her relatives. This is really bad experience, I hire her as my criminal charge defense lawyer and found she is trying flirt with the crown in the court break, ridiculous lawyer, with mask on I still can feel the strong eye flush and smile with romantic attraction. She start to yelling to me in the office to ask me to accept the crown condition.... yes I have to fire her before I got more trouble even I have already paid thousands dollar, PLEASE read former one star review not 5 stars, you will know her.

Edited: I would stay away, I had endless hearings going nowhere to the lawyer siding with the prosecutor. Yes I plead guilty to charges, however.... The court proceedings dragged on to the point where I thought I would never get out while it seemed the lawyer was glad to take money from the government and the government was glad to keep rescheduling extra hearings and pay the lawyer, I was on legal aid... And they sided with the crown prosecutor.... rather than counter their terms I hope this wasn't intentional but rather incompetency. As surety for the accused in a very serious case, I recently had the experience of my first involvement with the legal system. Fortunately, the accused had chosen Sweta Tejpal to represent his legal interests. The choice could not have been better. From our first meeting to the conclusion of the case, Sweta was very professional and maintained a high level of client confidentiality. I was not given any information related to the case other than that allowed by her client. The details surrounding this case were very stressful for myself, and her first time offender client.
