My wife and I were referred to Neil through our real estate agent on the completion of the sale of our home. Having never sold a home before, we were grateful to find that Neil was organized and had everything available and ready for us to sign when we came to our first interview with him. His price was reasonable and his explanations on the process clear and concise; we could not of been more pleased with his professional and courteous service. Having been in business for myself for over 20 years, I know competence and ability from flashiness, and Neil is the real thing - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or his staff to family, which is about as high a praise as I can give.

UPDATE: After I posted the review below I received an email from Neil offering to refund my money if I took my review down. Apparently they prefer bribery over professionalism. I needed my father to go to their law office to fill some papers out and have it sent back to Toronto. I repeatedly told them that it needed to be scanned, emailed and couriered to a law office in Toronto. They didn't do it and then claimed they were "busy with month end" and that they were "understaffed". They finally agreed to send it over. When the documents arrived in Toronto they were filled out incorrectly, and copies of my father's ID were not provided. They held up the purchase of my home with their incompetence, they took my money and didn't deliver on what we had agreed on. Waste of my time and money.

I can say that I was amazed at how smooth the process went. Sonia, the real estate paralegal explained the process in the initial email, and told me each step I had to take on my end. All my questions were answered within the next few hours after the email. When the time came to meet with Neil and Joshua, each document was explained to me and why I am signing it. Sullivan McMullan handled the purchase of our new home and I would say it couldn't have been more seamless and painless on our part. Though I was signing from New York (and was scheduled to fly to Africa in a couple of days) and my husband was signing in Winnipeg, they were able to finalize the closing without any glitch. Their rates are very reasonable and I should mention that Anna, Neil's assistant, is very nice and accommodating, she would return your call instantly (if she missed it) and would answer all your questions patiently. Without doubt the worst service I have received from a "professional" service person in my life. Feel free to read below for the full story. I used Neil Sullivan to purchase a rental property in June. There were issues with the property upon possession and Neil assured me he would help with the follow up and pursue a small claim on my behalf. He asked me to provide information for the claim, including the filing address for the previous owner which I tracked down after he said he didn't have it. I provided the required information early August by email. Between that date and early September I emailed and called four times and left a message asking for a return call. I did not receive a response to any of my communications. Finally on September 15th I decided that it was not going anywhere and went to his office to accept the initial offer from the previous owner to settle as a small claim would take a further three months even if it was filed right away. His office as listed on his website was actually his house as he had moved at the start of August and not updated the information. His wife was at home and she called him on his cell for me. He answered and they spoke for a moment on the phone and then she handed me the phone to talk to him. I explained who I was and he told me he was driving and to call the office and leave a message for him. I said I'd tried that and it wasn't working and he hung up on me. I went to the office and was told only Neil could deal with the issue and I would need to speak to him so I made an appointment with his assistant for later that day. At the meeting he said he had a note to call me, I explained I had actually called four times and emailed twice, he shrugged his shoulders and said oh well.
