Ron and Laura Ellis were absolutely great lawyers when I found myself needing a criminal lawyer. In the end they got my charges taken from a federal charge with jail time to a provincial charge with probation and community service. They are very professional, kind, helpful and understanding and they all make sure you are well informed and walk you through the whole process step by step. If I had questions about anything I could text or call them and I would hear back immediately or within a couple hours 7 days a week. They made sure I understood everything that was going on and gave me their honest opinions and options I had and in the end stood behind my decisions. Even after my court process was over Laura still helped with getting my personal property back and answered my questions about the process of that right away. I definitely 100% recommend this law firm for anyone that finds they need a lawyer. And they do accept legal aid as well. So if you find yourself in a situation that you need legal help give them a call. You will get amazing help from them. And they work on cases together so you get even better legal advice and help.

Ron is the best lawyer along with Laura who will be at every court date and his staff Jessica and Mellissa he has a great team that all have your back. He is worth every penny. Ron represented me very well and is very approachable. Your going to pay a good dollar with any lawyer but I ended up overpaying and got a refund of over $9,000 from him - few lawyers would do this. Ron, Laura and the rest of his staff worked tirelessly for almost a year on my father's case. We had seen 2 other firms before giving Ron's a call; in both cases my father had felt uncomfortable with the attempt at representation, and felt he had been counted out before giving his side. Ron Ellis, on the other hand, took the case without anything but my father's account, and believed it, without question. He began mapping the case, before the retainer had even been deposited. Throughout the course of the negotiations, Ron and Laura were a rock for our family. We have mental health issues in our family, and they never judged us, they never treated us as though we were a burden for our constant call and emails, even when the content had become unreasonably paranoid. Ron never asked for a single penny more than his original retainer fee, and his team argued and bargained with the crown right up until the sentencing. Ron's team achieved a miracle deal for my father, essentially saving his life from years in prison over a single moment of extreme, stressed out over-reaction on my father's part, down to a 6 month curfew/house arrest with a 3 year probation and the right to travel. Ron is probably the best defence council in the London area. He always answered my questions and respond to my emails, whether it was early in the morning or late at night. He is very intelligent and confident. In fact, he was the only lawyer willing to take on my unique and interesting case. This Law Firm gets 5 stars all day long . RESULTS , RESULTS , RESULTS . A person that I knew was committing a serious Fraud and silently involved me in the matter . When I became aware of the situation I contacted the person and demanded that he cease his activities immediately and ensure that I was to be removed from any such activity . If he did not I advised him that I would seek legal means to protect myself . I was once again deceived and began my search for legal advice . Please note , the penalties for this type of fraud range from prison time to hundreds of thousands of dollars . In the city that I live in there are numerous law firms . I reached out to almost all of these firms , and explained my situation , only to be told that they could not assist me . I was referred from one firm to another , to another . I was frustrated and at my wits end . I live in a city 60 miles east of London , where I could get no results . I went to the internet to seek Criminal Lawyers . This is where I found Ron Ellis Law Corporation . My first phone discussion was with Melissa who spent some time with me writing all the information that I had . She gave this information to Ron . Within one day I received a call from Ron to further discuss the issues . Ron requested that I send him the information via email . Once he received the information he went into action . Within two months the case was resolved . I will not go into details on how Ron and his team resolved the matter as this is privileged information . I will say that I was relived that he was successful on my behalf . In summary , Ron and his Law practice are at a level higher than most . He kept me in the loop throughout the legal process , via email , text messages and phone calls . He resolved this tense situation for me in a short period of time , where as many others brushed me off . I would also note that his fees were more than reasonable . When Ron accepts you as a client, you and your case become and remain a priority for him, and his entire team. They will work with you, every step of the way from setting up a reasonable payment plan to providing a rigorous defense. Without so much as a speeding ticket on my record, facing criminal charges was nothing short of terrifying for me. I was out of my element and devastated. I hired legal representation as quickly as I could based on a recommendation from an acquaintance. They outlined a payment plan I could manage, indicated I had a solid and winnable case and quickly became difficult to get a hold of. The lawyer assigned to my case was not readily available and did not respond to my inquiries within a reasonable time frame, I was reminded that I was not the only client. Eventually I went in for a meeting, my then lawyer assured me that if I took this to trial, I would lose and encouraged me to take a plea. Take a plea without even trying to establish my innocence? Still very naïve in the ways of the court system I inquired via email what my rights were in regard to changing my legal representation. Ron responded to my email and set up a time to discuss the matter over the phone, on a Saturday. The following Monday I released the firm I had signed with and hired Ron Ellis law. Immediately I felt this was the best decision I could have made. The team at Ron Ellis law were not only readily accessible, they were collectively and individually patient, reassuring and forthcoming at every stage of my case. I was facing serious accusations, which, if unresolved, would have impacted the rest of my life in Canada. In the search of an experienced defence counsel I interviewed a few lawyers. I came to Ron Ellis’s office in London, and from the outset I realized that Ron was a very well-versed lawyer and a loquacious person - two indispensable qualities I was looking for in a good lawyer. He was also very energetic and professional. Even though I saw that at that time Ron was not familiar with the type of offence I was charged with, I relied on his overall experience, and I was rewarded for my trust.
