Mr Glenn Matthew was like a beacon in the dark. Such a talented professional ethical man in my history of dealing with lawyers . Seems like a nightmare to me. I wish I could rewind the time and set every thing back to normal . Can’t believe my eyes that his office is closed down .I know it’s hard for clients to understand this situation cause they paid their fee and the work isn’t done, but imagine what they would be going through . He is the most honest lawyer I have ever dealt with. I was so happy with his work ethics including his staff untill they hit some crises . It's brutal . He had five star through out on google reviews untill this mishap so please I request every one to talk to the law society or seek another help but don’t bash on Glenn Matthew . How does an award-winning attorney with his reputation, international recognition, and length of service, end up being suspended? We hired him to do our spouse visa and only found out he was suspended and office closed because I sent an e-mail to ask about our case, and got an automatic reply to contact Law Society of Ontario. They informed me he has been suspended and all of his offices habe been shut down. And they also gave me a number to call to get a refund. And a new attorney. None of his clients were notified. I hope nothing bad happened to him

Active clients are STRONGLY URGED to contact the Law Society of Ontario, who is attempting to gain trusteeship of all cases. In short folks, it's a mess. Seek new legal representation ASAP if you can. Heads up that as of today, July 23rd 2019, it appears this business has abruptly and permanently closed. Letters on the door refer all inquiries to the Law Society of Ontario with copies to take. As a - I suppose now former - client, I had no notice and am honestly blindsided. I was pleased with my experience until the *entire firm* went AWOL... Not really sure what else to say about that? I hope everyone is okay...

Dedicated, Professional Team who CARES! To start from the beginning, my husband I married March 2012. (I am a Canadian citizen, and my husband is a Jamaican citizen). When I was looking for a lawyer to assist with our spousal sponsorship visa for my husband to immigrate to Canada, I reached out to MANY lawyers in the London/Toronto region. Glenn was the ONLY lawyer who scheduled a consultation with me, answered my questions via email without telling me I had to pay a large "consultation fee" even before deciding to use his services. I had contacted Glenn in Dec 11/Jan 12 so we could get the process started before we our marriage date, and Glenn honored the 2011 price quoted, even tho I had confirmed using his services into 2012. These small, early interactions with Glenn showed a lot into his character. During our first meeting, he was clear, detailed and answered every one of my many questions. I did not feel rushed, and he was patient and precise to help my understand the process ahead. There were many "hiccups" in our case, which delayed our approval. We were denied our visa in Fall of 2014 (I believe) due to a criminality issue, and appealed within the 30 days. We won our appeal Jan 2017. Angela is fantastic (Glenn's assistant). She responded to my many emails within 24 hours, usually within an hour even. If I had questions that she wasn't sure of, she always followed up with Glenn. They never leave you wondering, or make you feel like your just another client. They provide exceptional, personal service. They are a persistent and dedicated team....following up with the embassy ever few months, requesting updates, trying their hardest to fight for my case. I would recommend Matthews Global Immigration Law to ANYBODY. I can NOT say enough good words, and really no words can express the gratitude I have to Glenn & Angela for what they have done for my husband & I.
