The Family Law sections of Waterstone Law Group LLP are extremely competent and experienced in this area of practice. Each lawyer seems to have a slightly different area of primary concentration, enabling clients, such as myself, to draw on the collective experience and wisdom of their diverse practices. Most importantly, they seem to share an unyielding commitment to the protection of their clients, their interests and their assets. Mr Michael Jones is a fantastic family lawyer as well as a genuinely nice person. His assistant/paralegal, Taylor Michaud is just as genuine and professional. A few years ago I needed the services of Waterstone Law Group LLP on a matter that seemed nothing short of a bureaucratic maze in the Law Courts. Frustrated, I found Waterstone Law Group LLP through a recommendation. I called to make an appointment and once I met with Mr. Jones, I knew that he was a lawyer I could trust. Throughout the entire process Mr. Jones was kind, patient and always very level-headed and calm. He gave me every reason to trust in him and his abilities. With Ms. Michaud, I could say the same. She has been proactive, professional, genuine, and someone you can trust as well. In sum, from the start to finish, Mr. Jones, and Ms. Michaud both handled my case with integrity and true professionalism. They won both proceedings that were on two different occasions. Absolutely fantastic legal advice and a strong representation to the facts. These types of issues should only be handled carefully by a competent professional. Without question I would recommend Waterstone Law Group LLP to anyone seeking the same results I experienced.

Shelley Henshaw is one of the best ICBC lawyers out there. She gets her clients far more than any other lawyer I have ever heard of in the lower mainland, and she does this with your utmost wellbeing in mind. I really could not trust this lawyer’s competency more. I feel like she should be a university professor to teach others her skills and talents! Absolutely terrible , they should not be allowed to do consultations. I went for a consult with Michael Jones, at waterstone regarding a divorce settlement . I laid out my husbands finances and assets. He never asked for anything more but stated I would in all likelyhood get pretty much nothing. I took him at his word, and it wasn't until I was urged to get other council that I went to Darnell and company. I was treated with rights and respect. Just settled for 1500,000 , rrsp for 367,000 and almost 3000.00 per month support. Very wrong and in my opinion unethical to take my consultation fee and then just dismiss me with saying it will probably get me nothing. No support and he said maybe a small down payment on a condo, didn't even ask if he could be of service as it obviously wasn't worth his time. Should be a minus 10 stars!

We used Waterstone Law regarding a mortgage lien that was paid off (we had financial proof) but the lien was never removed (clerical issue). As we had an offer on the property and a closing date upcoming, Savina acted quickly realizing the urgency of our issue (removal of the lien). She clearly explained the process required, was factual pointing out the legal requirements, and very professional, and confident in her dealings with us. She explained the billing process and advised us of appropriate steps we could take to alleviate unnecessary costs to us. Timing was of the essence. She negotiated with our opposition's lawyer to come up with a speedy result in our favour (the very next day). We were extremely happy with her expertise and professionalism. The office staff was also very professional.

I went for a business dispute and was introduced to Savina. She is very honest and productive. During our first meeting, she explained what we can get and need to expect. As it is always, having a dispute with someone is really hard and difficult to solve. Savina was very helpful and professional throughout the process. I felt like she truly understands how I feel and how I want to reply or react to the other party. Sometimes she wrote what I want to say in a very professional manner even I did not ask her. We resolved the dispute in about 5 months and the is much shorter than We expected.
