I found the firm through an online search and was attracted by the good reviews. I did not have a good experience however. Despite informing the legal assistant assigned to the lawyer that would be representing me, of the time sensitive nature of my case, I was told that my lawyer would not be available to speak to me for another week. I found the assistant to be cold and insensitive to my case. Upon finding new counsel in Pettit and Co, I was received warmly right off the initial conversation and received immediate support not only from legal assistants but also my representing lawyer. This might be an isolated incident and may have just sought help from this firm at the wrong time but this is was my experience and my impression of their conduct. My parting gift was an $84.00 file closing fee. I will not be recommending this firm to anyone.

They are not the most compassionate people to be working in a field such as family law. Uninterested in children's welfare and when I received my file back it has miraculously shrunken from multiple binders in a box to two manilla envelopes with nothing stapled or put together just a loose bunch of papers... Do not waste your money or time here if you have a complicated family law case. Kendra also pawned me off to her junior legal assistant weeks before an 8 year old file closed which led to some difficulties on my part because Katherine didn't catch something that should have been put in the order.

I would like to take a moment and make a personal review. First off I did have a consultation at Dreyer Davison and was told it would be with Joan Ann ( in witch is noted on my Receipt) After looking at their web site, I was mis lead to think my consultation was with her but is was with an Asian Lady ( Likely a student ) hens the $25.00 for 30 Mins. I did Inquire about some information on if my spouse and I were to separate and what things look like legally with owning a home and children involved together. Chelsie and I have since worked through some things and are happy to announce that we are not only still together after years together but that we are happy and on the same page once again. I would like people to know that I can confirm that you can speak to Crown Council located at any of your provincial Courts at no charge and they are very happy to help you with family Law at no cost to you. After my spouse was able to show me proof retaining from 5 other lawyers she spoke with as well as information from the family court in surrey, I can say that not all information given to me at my consultation was correct and even mis- leading and very likely would have ended up with big surprise costs . They also left out important information that could have ended up being very costly and i was not informed. Details to our case is not as Important as the questions asked and after research I feel cheated of my time..That may be because I was booked with a student again I was told it was with Joan as per receptionist. Shall I ever need legal Advice in the future I would not come back to their office, I would not recommend to anyone. I would also like to note that their Lie's in response to my spouses Review was at the very least not professional and I wouldn't want to have someone representing me in any case. me and my future wife will no longer be responding to any more of this just wanted people to be informed. ———————————- I don’t know why the owner is replying to something almost 1 year ago.. not professional or timely response. Your right crown is used for criminal matters, it seems you guys did not have a full understanding of the reason I was there in the first place. Again I can’t say enough how much I would not recommend your office to anyone ! I also can’t believe the response a year ago your office write to my wife ... not professional and almost provoking her .. besides the wrong information given to me you would think you would have been happy that her and I worked things out but it seems you guys might be trying to make things bigger in hopes to revive money from clients .... I have left my review based on my experience , advice that was given and your office responses.
