Great experience! Helpful staff, very responsive and patient. Thanks for everything. Update: after 1.5 months I’m having issues with my city taxes, they blame the city while I’m stuck with the late charges and no way to pay them (I’ve never receive any tax notice in my name). I had requested that my financial institution pay the taxes but the lawyers clearly never followed through on the paperwork. Financial institution never heard from the lawyers, there was zero communication. Headache in the making. Also since the link wasn’t recorded as me completing a review, the $100 voucher for a review was never provided. All in all, not as good as what transpired on the surface. I should have realized something was amiss when everyday my contact at the firm changed. If you decide to use this firm and you start being passed around between law clerks, be on guard and understand you aren’t a valued client and your case may end up the same as mine. I was a first time home buyer, I didn’t know any better and I feel as though they have taken advantage of my naiveté.

I am posting this comment so the firm can recognize my email. Everything was fine before and at closing (other than the fact that they didn’t - and still haven’t - recognized my origial review for the $100 promo, since google used a different email than the one they had on file). A month and a half after my closing they provided me with an email on a Friday around 4pm saying that they never passed along the paperwork to the city and all the outstanding property tax and the late fees were my responsibility. They sent me a bill with the old owner’s name on it and told me it was my responsibility to pay it under that name. Try getting in touch with a lawyer or the city on a Friday after 4 pm. I’m upset and I don’t recommend this firm to anyone. I thought I legally owned this condo, now I’m feeling like this “law firm” was a scam and I’m paying someone else’s property taxes and don’t legally own the unit. Everything was done online, I never met a single person, the bank originally refused to transfer my funds because they believed it to be a scam, I think the bank is sometimes right. Update: The phone number in the response is an after hours phone number where the receptionist directs you to a voicemail box of the person you would like to reach. It was not helpful (I have the phone number to six (6) different office clerks who probably left work several hours ago). No apology, so clearly they have no sympathy for the situation they caused.
