I was the seller in this deal. In previous house purchases/sales, the signing and exchange of funds takes place at the same time. My experience with this firm was very disappointing. The purchaser advised me 3 weeks earlier that he had the funds and was waiting for me to have the deal written up. I signed off on my funds four days ago and still haven't received my money. I called Mr. Mattes office and asked why the delay and was told that I would have to ask Mr.Mattes. The receptionist asked me to hold and 15 seconds later said that Mr. Mattes wouldn't take my call. I would say my experience was very unprofessional.
