Matthew Munce lacks communication skills. He rarely spoke to me outside the courtroom. He did not remember conversations we did have. I asked about legal fees in the beginning and he said he was applying for legal aid. That didn’t happen until trial was starting, cause he thought he already applied and it was denied. When he did finally apply, I was denied legal aid. He said we could work something out, then I didn’t hear from him. I messaged him as the court date was approaching , he messaged me last minute before I had to be in court, saying he hadn’t received a retainer! He never discussed any costs prior. When I couldn’t afford his fees, he blocked my email and phone number. I’m left with no information, no idea what the charges are, no documents, nothing. I was better off before I met him, at least then I had my documents.

Their office admin assistants are not very helpful, but the lawyers seem very knowledgeable and eager to help. I am sure with COVID everyone is under stress and uncertainty and the courts continue to function.
