Josh is clearly passionate and knowledgeable about what he does and his confidence doesn't outperform his preparedness. He is very technical, so if you want someone to defend you based on the law and your rights, hire him. During my several uses of his services, he has worked hard to defend me and had always been ready for different outcomes. The only reason I rate at four instead of five stars is we've had some bad luck with a Crown Attorney. Even still, Josh advised me exactly what was happening and answered the phone whenever I needed to talk. I believe he does all criminal law, so don't hesitate to call and his consultations are free. He communicates very well and stays in touch via telephone, cell phone and email.

Josh is super Prepared, Super approachable and cares about me. Joshua Rogala is one of those few lawyers that will consider all aspects of a case to get you the best results in your case. (including Charter Challenges) He takes the necessary time to review your case in full. He is well prepared for all aspects of law and did an amazing job for me in my bail hearing. He was very well prepared, and in law, that is half the battle. Josh has a great working relationship with all of the area crowns in Manitoba that helped me to get reasonable results when the fresh faced crown was being unreasonable. (READ: She wanted blood, where blood wasn't warranted) Joshua represented me in Portage la Prairie, MB and is based out of Winnipeg. He did an excellent job and takes direction well. He treats me with respect and understands my perspective as an Aboriginal and minority who is facing criminal charges and oppression from Manitoba Justice. REES & DYCK are well respected by the Police, Judiciary and their peers. They are experts in Criminal Law and when push comes to shove; this firm is on your side. Josh is empathetic and always answers his phone..even on weekends. He lives, breathes and sleeps Criminal Law. I will not hesitate to contact him, should I end up, in the future, on the wrong side of the MAN. I never paid Josh cash...God bless Canada, Legal Aid paid him. But he treated me the same way as someone who had just put thousands down in cash for a retainer. Rees Dyck & Rogala are good people.

Faced with an online stalker/harassment situation from my partner’s out-of-province ex-girlfriend, I was contacting numerous Edmonton and Winnipeg police stations and law offices to find anyone who could help me. Josh was the only lawyer to take my case. He worked with the Justice of the Peace so I didn’t have to appear in person; he was thorough with my evidence presentation and because of this my application for a Protection Order (restraining order) was executed immediately - the respondent was served the very same day!
