Contacted them a while ago to see about taking on a medical claim. A very valid claim. As a retired nurse, I know exactly what was done wrong and have the legal rights to pursue the claim. I asked for someone to contact me over 2 weeks ago. No response after I had spoken to the secretary that said I'd be contacted back. I'll give them 1 more week after this write up. And then proceed to someone that's wanting to get this issue resolved.

Had a lawyer named Jonathan Boettcher and got charged $1700 for nothing. Wanted to negotiate a commercial lease and my business partner and I had an offer to lease already drawn up. Jonathan literally did nothing and used the exact same numbers as we had. No additional input from the lawyer. We didn't even get the commercial space and had to pay for the 3 emails Jonathan sent to the leasing agent. Such a waste of time. DO NOT RECOMMEND. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

Do not use this firm. I employed their services to draft a separation agreement for myself and my ex wife. There were no child custody issues and no division of property issues, as my ex and I are very civil with each other. My lawyer, Erin E., utilized exorbitant amounts of back-and-forth correspondence with opposing counsel to rapidly boost the billable hours on my file. Additionally, I was forced to re-write a document personally as the original drafted by Erin E.'s legal assistant did not convey my intentions. This occurred despite my meeting with Erin E. just days prior. In the end, 2 years later, the total cost of my separation agreement was $7,921.48. I requested the cost be reviewed by arbitration through the Law Society of Manitoba, and not surprisingly, Erin E. declined arbitration. I am currently seeking for the cost to be examined in the Court of Queen's Bench, however, since it has now been over a year since my final statement of account, I may not be able to proceed. I submit this review in hopes of preventing others from being exploited. Save yourself a headache. Go elsewhere.
