The worst lawyer ever. He showed up for a TRIAL completely unprepared in hopes of getting an adjournment. Never returned phone calls or emails. Cost me over 150k and a relationship with my daughter. Made promises and never even came close to making good on any of them. I filed a complaint with the bar and hope you will do the same. Get this crook banned from practicing law for good.

The partner and staff made my life journey bearable by providing the support, honestly and guidance that I needed, when I needed it. They were efficient and timely, updating me as necessary. Delays in finalizing my situation were outside of their control. I never felt like I was merely a paycheque, nor that time/money were being wasted to generate a padded pocket. I was recently (falsely) accused of being unfaithful to my wife with a child of the school I taught at (Calvin Christian Collegiate). Michael told me he would require a cash payment upfront once I brought up a coupon code I found online. Shortly after making the payment, I was placed in a large metal cage and shaken around. After all of this, Michael wasn't even able to reduce my prison sentence by at least 1 year. This was quite disappointing as I am now looking at 20 years... RIP my frontal lobe.

I never thought I would Be writing a bad review about someone but I’m hoping others will learn from my experience. Do not use Kelly Hjorth for any legal Matters ever. Once he has Your money he will sit on his butt and do nothing. He avoids calls constantly and does not reply to emails. If he would Do half of the things he says he would Do I would be a happy client. Dealing with him has put a sour taste in my mouth in regards to dealing with lawyers. Had I looked on the website and read the reviews ahead of time I would Not have used this firm. Very disappointed !!!

Kelly Hjorth from this firm was my lawyer on a property matter . He seems to be too busy to look after his client load taking new clients and putting existing on the back burner . Multiple times he has forgotten about time sensitive issues. would not recommend this lawyer or firm as management is aware of my displeasure and have done nothing.
