Great legal team and lawyer! We really appreciated working with Una for the purchase of our new home in Kelowna. We moved from Vancouver so a lot of the work was done remotely to minimize travel and disruption. Una was great ensuring that all the details were coordinated to ensure our close went smoothly so that we had the access we needed when our movers arrived (earlier than planned). She explained all the contractual details in understandable terms (important for a rural property), and was very personable. I didn’t make it to hire anyone. I got as far as calling in just to waste two minutes of my life speaking to the receptionist that was left tongue tied over a simple question asking if the firm specializes in what I was looking for. I sat there listening to a ten second paused of “ummmm.” When I asked if there was someone she could pass me onto that may know. Her response was “if you wouldnt cut me off I’d tell you.” Most firms generally provide the lawyer referral number if they can’t make a recommendation for you, a small gesture that also went ignored by the receptionist.

I love how lawyers respond by the second when they want something from you, but when they’re holding your money hostage in a trust account you can’t get a response. Convenient, looks like this partnership took a nose dive and now it’s in shambles.
