I was with a different lawyer before I contacted bill. Having been with a terrible lawyer before makes me appreciate bill so much more! With the first lawyer I had done all the work, I did all the research etc, and that lawyer was basically just there to confirm or deny my questions. I ended up getting in contact with bill through a friend I trust and I was completely blown away by him. He took his lunch time off in order to see me the following day after our first phone call. When I spoke to him he listened intently and asked lots of important questions.at the end he gave me 3 different courses of actions, explained all of them to me and had me choose one, onc I had chosen one he told me Wich he would have chosen and we discussed toghter what direction we should take. Bill is easily reached and is willing to explain things to u so u don't have to worry about how this new thing will effect things. I don't say this about many ppl but bill truly cares about his clients, he understands what they are going through and he wants to help get them through this and give them the result they want. If you are looking for a lawyer, please talk to Bill first, regardless of reviews, talk to him, I'm sure u will have the same confidence in him that I do, and that is such a big thing to have in some one who is fighting for u in your divorce!!

The problem with Google Reviews are businesses can stock them full of positive reviews and mislead the public. I represented myself against Bill 15 years ago trying to prevent my ex from taking my daughter to Vancouver. Bill charged my ex 80k to lose, then had the nerve to turn to her when the judge ruled in my favor and said "Congratulations!" During trial prep Bill was a bully and did was always loud and threatening, and in the end, this college drop out mopped the floor with this "educated professional." To this day I run into Bill and he will tell me that he won. The fact that I spent the last 15 years raising my beautiful, talented, independent and brilliant daughter says otherwise! ???? After recent headlines, not sure Bill is practicing anymore, he is most likely in family court on his own behalf.

Bill and the team at Courtyard Law have been looking after me for a long and complicated 10.5 years and I cannot thank them enough for the incredible work they have done for me and my family. I remember the first conversation I had with Bill and feeling like I had been put in good hands right away and every day after. I was young and very scared at the start and he was very patient with me and welcomed my support people into his office with me. He was kind when he needed to be, brutally honest when it was appropriate and always guided me in the best direction to help me look after my children. Whenever I didn't understand the language, direction or anything at all, I always felt safe to ask him directly and he would make sure I understood everything completely, and felt prepared myself, every step of the way. We spent time in court and while I watched him do his thing in the courtroom, it only solidified my trust in him. My money has never felt wasted, only well invested in my childrens well being. Renee and Debbie, his receptionist and assistant, have become two more people whom I admire and am so very grateful for. Somehow they made a painful process so much less so with their caring personalities and warm smiles at each and every phone call and meeting. Yesterday I got to sit down for the last time as I signed the agreement that we have worked so long and hard for and I'll be grateful for this team for the rest of my life! If you want a lawyer who will rack up a $10,000 bill in provincial court and Supreme Court and make you lose every time, and then when all that fails advise you to break and enter into your exes home, rob them and vandalize their property then hire the winner Tracy Bryce-Nicholson! Dear lord help whoever retains her as their counsel, this woman isn’t worth a dollar for parking outside her office. It is horrific to find out that Tracey Brice-Nicholson’s best friend’s husband aided in the robbery (owner of New Age delivery service), as recounted by two eye-witness neighbors. Esther Moore and Tracey Brice should be prohibited from working in law.
