I would never refer anyone to Martin & Martin's Firm especially women who are pregnate or breastfeeding new moms ! We hired Lezra for our ICBC MVA and I had a horrible experience. Please don't make the same mistake I did !

Went for a consult and by the time I went to pay my retainer they told me that lawyer was no longer taking clients. Waste of a consult fee as I now have to go pay it again at another firm.

I initially hired hired this firm because they had rates I could afford. What I quickly discovered was my lawyer's high standards re: knowledgeability, professionalism, and thoroughness. She gave me piece of mind during a very difficult and painful time. She listened to my concerns and priorities, and crafted an agreement that reflected it. Terrible!!! It started off when I read an online ad saying that the initial consultation was free. When I phoned in to make the appointment I was told that we had to pay half rate for the first hour and then full rates. They said the free consultation was for MVA’s only. No where in the ad does it say that. Shame on you Martin Lawyers!????????????????????????????????????. Then six weeks later when I stopped in to make our next appointment I was told that our lawyer was no longer working there and they were too busy to continue counseling us. Disappointment, disappointment, disappointment!!! Again shame on you!!!!

Cheryl and Lesra Martin are fantastic lawyers with a balanced approach to dealing with issues, they are both professional as well as approachable and warm. They have a relaxed atmosphere in their office and their support staff are welcoming and helpful. During my dealings with Martin Lawyers staff I found Rachel to be particularly responsive and helpful. With all of my enquirers I always received a very satisfactory, timely response. Cheryl Martin performed the necessary duties when I renewed my mortgage a year ago. She was expeditious and resolved all small wrinkles with ease. In addition to being very professional and highly capable I found Cheryl to be friendly, warm and easy to talk to. Lesra Martin represented me when I was involved in a motor vehicle accident, it was evident early on that he is well polished when it comes to dealing with ICBC. Lesra was masterful in his negotiations with ICBC and he was excellent about keeping in touch, not only to keep me abreast of his negotiations with ICBC but also to check in on my physical well being. I don’t believe I could have made a better choice for representation.

would not recommend, would not use again. was totally a waste of thousands of dollars for no help or direction. they managed to suck all the retainer money from the account without providing a single solution. they muddled and wasted time reviewing, and charging every time i had to re-explain what was told to previous lawyers in their firm. very dissapointed.

Lesra was my lawyer after I was in a hit and run. I was 8 1/2 months pregnant and extremely worried. Lesra walked me through everything I needed to do. He made sure I got all the treatments I needed and any extra support to go to treatment with a newborn, who I was nursing. He got me a great settlement, I would highly reccomend him.

So on the website it says they offer a free hour consultation but when I called them up they said oh there was a mistake on our website that hasn't been changed yet. Instead they offered me the hourly rate but the first half an hour would be a discount seems pretty shady to me
