I have used a few different law firms in the past for purchasing and selling houses and Forward Law has been by far my best experience. They worked with my bank and realtor to take care of all the details. They were timely, knowledgeable, and professional. Rates are industry standard. Issues we had; 1. getting given options from the lawyer, directing the lawyer as to which option and then finding out he altered the option to maintain his involvement. Note, you're better off setting up an estate account at a bank rather than having the law firm keep the money in a trust account, which is what he wanted us to do. 2. We had to push to get our file moved on twice. We can't give them anything other than a satisfactory. :( We seriously recommend checking out what recommendations they supply and diary dating items to ensure your file isn't unnecessarily delayed.

Poor Service and I would never recommend anyone going to 'FORWARD LAW' !!!! I got my house on 15 July, Ryan helped me do the paper work as a lawyer he should know all the rules. Ryan told me that I won't be paying tax since it my first house. After one month of moving into new house I got letter from ministry of finance that I am not eligible for this offer since I am not Canadian Citizen. I got back to Ryan and he said that he is sorry, and he can't help me anymore. SERIOUSLY !!! I had to pay $5000 extra because of him as he did poor job at his end. Forward Law charged me $1500 for this type of service !!!

We hired FL to represent a case against the TNRD. Originally assigned a lawyer then half way through re assigned another lawyer which although a nice person, never did i feel comfortable that they had this case prepared for a win. One lady, an assistant or receptionist was very robotic and not personal which made me feel very uncomfortable . I felt like they are more prepared to bill you for everything than to learn how to win your case. If your looking for a court battle I would not recommend this firm based on what i experienced, sorry Forward Law

Absolutely the WORST service. Incredibly rude secretary that refused to return phone calls- only point of communication is when she answers the phone. Argued with us over a simple, simple mistake that was made on THEIR end, and would have costed THEIR FIRM huge. Had to leave mid-appointment to obtain docs. that she confirmed we would NOT need. Huge waste of time- simply want your cash. Do NOT recommend this firm whatsoever. (Specifically for real estate transactions with Ryan Scorgie and Carrol (secretary))
