What ever you do, do not hire Kathryn Tweedie. She intentionaly drags things out in an attempt to line her own pockets. She wasted 1.5 years of my life. I would email her questions and at least 4 times it took her over a month to answer. I wouldn't get the answers until I emailed her again. Of course the billing process never stopped. She kept suggesting ways of settling with my ex husband, although she knew that the only way this was going to be settled was to go to court. I was told that my court case could run as high as $100,000.00. I feel that she was extremely exaggerating. Since when is a normal civil case going to be that much. Other people told me that she is trying to rip me off. After spending $20,000.00 in legal fees she told me that if I wish to go to court that I would have to represent myself. That was money well spent. She is probably a partner in the firm because she makes a lot of money for them ripping people off. I wish that I saw the website lawyerratingz.com before I hired her, because another person complained about the same thing that she did to me. Her clients best welfare is not on her priority list. The almighty dollar is. I would be curious to know what an average client of hers pays from start to finish. DO NOT HIRE KATHRYN TWEEDIE, SHE WILL RIP YOU OFF. She probably rips off her own mother

I had called Vogel to hire a personal injury lawyer on a Friday. The receptionist transferred me to Mike’s voicemail. Called again on the following Tuesday. The receptionist transferred the call to another lawyer who told me they are going to pass on my case because it was too close to the 2 year mark. Which was understandable. I asked if there were any other lawyers who could take my case and he spoke for everyone and said, “no”, and actually recommended Yanko & Popovic. I get a call from Mike on Thursday and set up an appointment to meet at 9:30am on Friday, one week after I left him a voicemail. It took me 30 minutes to get down to the area, which I was well aware of, only to find my gps took me to 10101 Southland port. I arrived at Vogel law office at 9:36am and Mike refused to take me in as a client. 6 minutes past our appointment. A simple error lost this firm a client, Mike seemed not to care for. A waste of my time. Edit** johnny pak called and asked me to take my view down as this would ruin the firms reputation instead of trying to make this situation better.

Initially, she and her team were responsible for helping me to gain primary custody of my two children amidst a volatile and high conflict situation with my ex-husband and his new partner. This was a long and complex ordeal, but throughout the entire process I felt personally cared for and completely confident in her abilities to navigate the process. We were able to come to the resolution I sought just prior to having to attend a half-day Domestic Special. More recently, Medina helped me to a successful outcome regarding a Child Support Application and changes to the existing custody agreement. Following a motor vehicle accident, I reached out to Mike Vogel at Vogel LLP after receiving a recommendation from a friend. Engaging a lawyer is intimidating - personally I had never considered that I would be in this position, and even after I first met with Mike, I was not convinced that I would need a personal injury lawyer to assist with my claim and did not sign on the dotted line right away. Unfortunately (or fortunately) after a few days and discussions with the other side it was apparent that there were many moving parts, regardless of this incident not being in any way my fault. I needed someone who was going to be on my side, primarily to ensure that my recovery was priority number one and that an efficient, fair and reasonable resolution was priority number two. Mike and the team at Vogel made this pretty clear from the start that this was the focus - everything else would happen in due time. Mike puts his clients first, and keeps reality in the foreground - never did I ever feel like things were not clear. I would recommend Mike Vogel and Vogel LLP without any hesitation.
