Then we took the plate from the schooner and that's where the whole thing is to spoil a little all the fish and seafood were just overcooked, scallops also unfortunately, was it just a bad evening for the cook because the comments are quite good on average. but in times of covid everything was really more than correct as an evening, good service, friendly and festive atmosphere despite everything. Ensuite nous avons pris l'assiette de la goélette et c'est là que le tout c'est gâcher un petit peu tous les poissons et fruit de mer étaient juste trop cuit, petoncles aussi malheureusement, est-ce que c'était juste une mauvaise soirée pour le cuisinier car les commentaires sont assez bon en moyenne . mais en temps de covid tout était vraiment plus que correct comme soirée, bon service, sympathique et ambiance festive malgré tout. Our only downside was that the vegetable accompaniments did not match the excellent fish of the main course. Also the exterior decor has not really changed since my last visit over 25 years ago. Our server was kind, quick and knowledgeable. He not only helped us plan our meal, but provided us with tips only the locals would know for our adventures the following day. Has kind of a old look, but had a fantastic dinner ! The chowder was excellent; the seafood was definitely fresh ! A bit on the salty side though. For the main course we had the « Diner du Pêcheur pour 2 ». It was awesome; the lobster was perfectly cooked; the crabs was excellent. The scallops tasty and the cod and haddock were very good ! Seriously it’s a great plate . It was coming with rice. Only down side were the veggies; they were clearly from frozen. Great experience for Havre-St-Pierre!

Ok not more. The fish an seafood plates are expensive for what you get... Uncle ben's basic rice, unfrozen and cold vegetables are what you get with the meal. The seafood pizza is amazing though. Probably the best deal of the menu.

We lined up outside with +/- 20 people, luckily the wait was not long and even the owner came to see us to reassure us on the one hand of the wait and on the other hand for safety of the establishment (taking into account COVID 19) Very good welcome from the owner. My Steak was very good, my partner's lobster excellent! The atmosphere was less warm because of the distance but also because it was cold in the restaurant, we ate with our coats and several of our table neighbors as well. Our waitress was friendly but had higher expectations since it was our first visit, more menu explanation and advice on our tastes, in short a little more heat. Nous avons fait la file dehors avec +/- 20 personnes, heureusement l’attente n’a pas été longue et même le propriétaire est venu nous voir pour nous rassurer d’une part de l’attente et d’autres part pour la sécurité de l’établissement ( compte tenu du COVID 19) Très bonne accueil du proprio. Mon Steak était très bon, le homard de ma conjointe excellent! L’ambiance était moins chaleureuse à cause de la distanciation mais aussi parce qu’il faisait froid dans le restaurant, nous avons mangé avec nos manteaux et plusieurs de nos voisins de table également. Notre serveuse était sympathique mais avions de plus grande attente vu que nous en étions à notre première visite, plus d’explication du menu et conseil concernant nos goût, bref un peu plus de chaleur.

Best restaurant I've ever been and I've been to many. On Snowmobile trip and just happened to stop in. Had the Seafood platter and it was delicious. Would go back again just to go there. Boston Bruins were there the week before we arrived. The chef and owner sat down with us and so did the waitress. Warm and friendly place.

The best seafood I've had since I can remember. The outside seems a little humble but don't let that fool you. The wait staff are very friendly and helpful. The quality of the food is top-notch. The seafood chowder is easily the best I've had, packed with real seafood! The portions are huge especially for the specialty platters. The price may be daunting (I paid nearly $100 for supper for myself but I over indulged) but you have to ask yourself what some of the best seafood you've ever eaten is worth paying. If you're not daunted then this restaurant probably is for you.
