Cindy was very rude. Never got the chace to speek with amy, so i cant say bad or good. Cindy was one of the paralegals, i think. She said i needed to call someone else, because i didnt know what kind of motion cas had filed. She was very short, unresponsive, and general lacked any kind of people skills.

My family hasn't been working with Amy for long. So far, she and her team have been great. Im confident in her and trust her advice. Since retaining her and following her advice, things are starting to look up for my family and I. My husband and I had to have separate lawyers Due to conflict of interest (Amy is my husband's lawyer) and I retained the first lawyer Amy recommended ( Kathleen Bingham). They're both very nice and easy to communicate with. Our previous family lawyer was a struggle to get in touch with and he did not listen to what we were asking and was just straight up, rude! I highly recommend Amy Katz! She is extremely professional and knowledgeable and I know that I can rely on what she tells me. Amy really helped me in 2013 when I was first separated. She took the time to explain what needed to be done and was honest and straightforward with her suggestions of next steps. The separation agreement she drew up was rock solid and air tight in every way. Obviously attention to detail is crucial for such a document and Amy crossed all the T-s and dotted all the I-s. Recently I've called upon her again and she was able to guide me on my next steps and explain the process going forward. Thank you Amy, I really appreciate your help and patient explanations. Amy Katz is an amazing lawyer! I have had a few different lawyers represent me in the past and she is by far the best one I had. I would suggest her to anyone who is looking for help with child protection cases as well as any family matter. She made sure that I was being treated fairly and always fought for me. She is thorough in reviewing all documents and just a simple re-wording of a phrase can make a huge difference, she always caught everything. Not only is she amazing in the legal aspects she is also understanding and sympathetic to your situation which is hard to come by in a lawyer. I have the up most respect for her and her team, and can not thank them enough for giving me the confidence to do what was needed to get my family back. She is honest even if it's something you don't want to hear, but she knows it's something that you need to hear. It can't be easy doing this kind of work I'm sure but if your willing to do the work that is required than she will make sure you end up winning in the end. Out of a paying lawyer where my bestfriend helped me with finances , a Toronto lawyer that deals in high conflict cases as in abductions , n 5 other legal aid lawyers that I have gone through , Mrs Amy Katz is the best lawyer I have met and am working with right now ! I Had never been able to find that type of lawyer that is even remotely like Mrs Amy Katz in a good way! She listens to you , very attentive , not abrupt but abrupt to get things done in a good way, always calls back or emails , she looks for justice for you and your case , open and honest, she does things the right way and moves forward from that point works professionally at handling the matter at hand and will understand your case always since she goes through your file with a fine tooth comb and after you get the feeling that " yes this lawyer gets me and knows what's going on ! " since 2012-13 I haven't had such a great attentive lawyer. Nothing but the best words can describe her . The best! Highly recommend Mrs Amy Katz as your representative lawyer! During COVID, I called her to schedule a consultation which cost $400.00, we spoke, nothing positive came about, but I decided to retain her a fee of $5000.00 when I called her to do so, she refused my case.... just like that... $400.00 down the drain.... she said I took too long to retain her... the courts were closed for crying out loud... I'm out $400.00 and starting over. please beware if you decide to use her, she knows how to trick you for your consultation.
