Terrible experience. No communication or attention paid to my matter at all. Constantly had to follow up on my own to ensure anything was done at all. No monthly billing of my retainer, but she made sure she burned through it when I asked for a billing summary! Her demeanour is harsh, abrasive and unprofessional. Steer clear.

Don't hire Erika Macleod if you're a man. She'll ask for a large $2500 retainer and call you everyday until it's gone. A woman came into her office once while I was there and she asked the woman for a $1000 retainer. All she did for me was prepare a response and came to one court appearance that lasted an hour. She got me absolutely no progress and it cost me a total of $3500 for nothing. It would be better to represent yourself

Unfortunately, I received disappointing service from the lawyer I had originally retained and felt forced to make a change. Erika McLeod charged me $200 fee for a phone consult due to pandemic. Im a PERSON OF DISABILITY with little money. She was shockingly rude, bulldozed the entire consult, yelled over me anytime I tried to ask a question, as though she were drowning out her competition in a court dispute. Before agreeing to the high cost of consult the receptionist said the 200 was for Erika's "time." What about the client's time/money thats paid to have imp questions answered? I filled out the required 3pg form which she DIDN'T READ. She said I had no case because I have no assets, not even owed alimony. I said thats not true my ex & I had 60,000 in stocks to divide. She paused, flipped thru the forms & said "oh. yeah I guess you have a right to that." She bulldozed the entire convo like a well oiled routine forcing a $200 consult to finish in under 10mins. I paid for a service she didn't provide. Her aim was for quick $ during a pandemic when ppl are vulnerable. Its disgusting. I want my $200 refunded.

Very disappointed! Very cold demeanor. Felt like I was a waste of her time. Went for consult, $200 fee for 3pm appointment. Had to pay upfront before being seen. Coming on 3:15pm, finally get seen by her. I HAD to get up to close board room door for privacy. She did all the talking, no questions about me, no interest to discuss what I was wanting. Finished consult in 30 mins!! Her demeanor is reflected in the decor also, cold and very unwelcoming. A complete waste of money! Have gone elsewhere.

They are horrible. Literally ask you at your 1st visit and PAY you to give them a good review. How is someone supposed to provide an accurate review after your very 1st visit. Waste your money and have nothing to show for it. Their office made multiple errors and then I had to pay the price. Do NOT use this lawyers office!

Very negative experience with Ms. McLeod and this firm. Very cold demeanor, does not listen to her clients. Does not have her clients best interests in mind....just more money! After nearly 3 years and >$30,000 I had to arrange my own seperation agreement as she wanted to go to trial....I told her repeatedly that I did not want this! I told her not to do things, she did them anyway and still charged me for them. They would set up phone appointments then charge me for them when Ms. McLeod was too busy to speak to me! Stay away from this office!
