Been wanting to go here for a while and my first trip did not disappoint! Whether you’re from the immediate area or from further away and looking to the explore the island this summer— the Bitten Moon is a MUST GO destination for you. We enjoyed a laid back atmosphere with AWESOME brews and tasty food. ✅ The bar selection was really impressive with fully stocked selections from around the province. Great service and atmosphere. There’s also a bakery attached (Sweet Side of the Moon) that we didn’t get to try on our trip today, but I’ve heard great things. Will definitely be back! ❤️

If you like craft beer, this place is a absolute must! 17 craft beer on tap, mostly Nova Scotian. The staff are very friendly. If you visit Glace Bay, stop here.

Hands down best onion rings I’ve ever had! Made with thick chopped red onion and beer batter. The sandwich selection from the bakery next door is wild! We love that the craft beer selection is constantly rotated. A little bit off the beaten track but definitely worth the trip :)

This place has a good small appetizer type menu. Lots of great drinks to choose from. Patio definitely needs some TLC… some nice lighting, and MUSIC is a must for an outdoor patio, even just a speaker would do! The inside space could also be brightened up a little. Very dark/dingy.
