I purchased my first home, and Chipp handled the transaction. My only regret is that I didn't engage them earlier in the process. My bank had me draft my own purchase and sale agreement, but my interests would have been better protected if I talked to them sooner and had them draft the agreement. Fortunately, I knew the people selling and we were both on the same page about the deal. When it came time to come in and sign the papers, Chipp went through a number of important legal details about home ownership. These were things that weren't necessarily related to the purchase itself - but related to things in the mortgage like home insurance, foreclosure and other details. He even reminded me to do a walk through the house and ask the sellers about using/maintaining the systems within (like well, septic, etc.) The bill was reasonable, they were very thorough. What more do you need?
