If you want to experience complete negligence, lack of communication and no ability to follow through on the lawyers end. A refusal to bring matters forward, a literal denial of advocacy for your cause, unprofessionalism to the extreme, if you want all of the above in your legal counsel, then this is the law firm for you. My Lawyer quit on the grounds of a breakdown in client Lawyer relationship. This was after two weeks of requesting information and request of disclosure he couldn’t even send an email or require his legal assistant to send an email to request a disclosure which was crucial to my file and I had instructed him to request this numerous times. I called, I emailed, I left messages, I left messages with the legal assistant, none of my communication was reciprocated and when I complained about the lack of reciprocated communication the Lawyer quit, leaving me without counsel, with an upcoming trial. I was also advised by the council to not attend court dates because they were for specific setting of dates and then in my absence they were bring forward matters that were addressed and I was not privy to the information that was put forward in these proceedings and when I requested the information from my counsel they did not reciprocate with any communication or any clarity as to what was missed in these proceedings, leaving me at an ignorant disadvantage. My families well being has been compromised by this law firm. I cannot stress how much I do not recommend their “service” to anyone... do yourself a favour and go anywhere but here!!!

Agreed to take a Legal Aid Certificate and then back peddled out of it with out even reaching out to inform the legal aid client know they just flaked out. I would have never known if I didn't have to call into Legal Aid for status updates on separate matters

Do not waste your time and money at this place. I had to go to another firm to finish the job that I hired this firm to do. It was something simple and easy to do but they refused to complete the job I payed them to do.

Cyril Bright is a real dirt bag. He will rip you off and you will be sorry you ever dealt with him. He’s a washed out never has been who is getting desperate as his practice collapses. He’s a slumlord as well as a terrible lawyer. He uses his lawyer status to rip renters off and intimidate. If you don’t believe me as him about all his ex partners from his law business and ask yourself why he works alone now. Ask to speak to one of his former renters and see what they say. STAY AWAY FROM DEALING WITH THIS DIRTBAG!
