Venzon law firm is an excellent firm. They are courteous and professional. I did not give five stars for one reason.... Parking. Accessibility for a person with a wheelchair would be difficult, not impossible (because of the curb cuts and the fact it is on the first floor) just difficult. However, logistics aside, they are friendly, courteous, affordable, and very patient. Divorce is a trying experience and they are knowledgeable and efficient as well as patient. Jeff is amazing and Chad is excellent. My only suggestion for them would be to be a little more transparent with the divorce process and what to expect. That alone could help alleviate a lot of the anxiety for people going through the process. Knowing what to expect helps remove anxiety about the new or the unknown, putting people more at ease with this trying experience. In short, I would highly recommend this practice for anyone going through a divorce. They are very good attorneys with a small firm price. Well worth the money spent. Please consider this firm if you are ever in need of their services.

My situation involved complex cross border child support and I have spoken to many lawyers in Buffalo NY and in Ontario, Canada. I had a consultation with Chad and although I ultimately did not need attorney services in Buffalo, Chad was by far the most up front and most importantly to me, competitive attorney I have spoken to. He laid multiple options on the table for me and and said it was up to me how far I wanted to go with things and gave rough ball park costs associated with each. Fight and heart is the most important thing to me when looking for a lawyer and Chad had it. I actually wish I had him as my lawyer in Canada Dont hesitate to hire Chad as your attorney!!!

I had a consultation with a lawyer at this agency. I explained my situation and it also included two lawyers that I had questions about. The lawyer then started to explain to me what good lawyers they were. He was NOT helpful in any capacity. He was then condescending. I can't believe I had to pay for that.

Absolutely the worst place on earth if you want real representation THEN YOU WILL NOT GO HERE.. Not only do they treat you like they are better than you but they do little work for overpriced pay.. this woman doesn’t have her own family together how can she help you with yours.. please people be smart, go anywhere else but this crazed lady.. oh yea she will help you live happy! Lol she can’t get her own personal life in order this is the most miserable woman I’ve had the experience to meet.. she has had 4 children all of them have turned their back on her soon as they were old enough to know exactly what she is. A monster who treats her own kids and grand kids like they are nothing.. but don’t worry for $350 a hour she will have you living happily ever after.. Venzon law firm is a joke!

I wish I found them before hiring the previous firm which took months to resolve and BIG waste of money to get nowhere. Unfortunately, I did not hear about this law firm until after my divorce was final. Currently, after nearly three long years, while my divorce has been "final" since September of 2014, I continue to struggle with QDRO issues, as my ex-husband's lawyer continues this all-too-lengthy process of finalizing a rather large transfer of funds from my New York State Tax Deferred Savings Retirement account via my employment as awarded to my ex-husband. After numerous distressed telephone calls begging my own lawyers to end this agony once and for all, I continue to have no answers as to why this is taking so long to execute. Because of this, a friend suggested I consult with Catharine Venzon and Chad Pidanick to request their help. I must say, the consult fees paid to this firm was money well-spent, as they provided me with answers that helped me emotionally and mentally. Further, they listened and gave me sound, solid advice and suggestions, which, unfortunately, my own lawyers refused to provide. I firmly believe that had I known about this law firm from the beginning of a divorce that became ridiculously complex, while their hourly fee is more, my divorce would have been handled properly from the start, with appropriate justice served. I highly recommend this law firm, and if nothing else, at least ask them for a consultation. I also finally have some peace of mind and some hope, after all this wasted time, that if this excruciating property settlement does not finalize soon, I now have two QDRO experts finally willing and able to help. The Venzon Law Firm is excellent and quite frankly there is no other choice in my opinion. I heard about Catherine from a friend and a month ago (June 2016) I retained them to represent me. I am a dad to two beautiful kids caught in the middle of an ongoing 3-plus year contentious divorce and custody battle. I have had two prior attorneys, with one of them being a large, expensive, and well known firm in Buffalo, and trust me when I say that the Venzon Firm stands so far above the rest. In a little over a month Chad and Catherine and their excellent support team (Elizabeth and Estelle) have literally turned around my case already. They are extremely well respected in court among their peers and the judges, answer all questions thoroughly and efficiently, listen to and assuage your concerns, proactively strategize, and simply blow away the competition. When I began this divorce process, I was searching for an attorney that was aggressive and would protect my rights and interests. I received just that with Catharine Venzon, Chad Pidanik, and her staff. She always looked out for me, provided excellent advice, and never strayed from her mission statement of living happily ever after. Also what I liked, was there is no beating around the bush. All of her decisions and opinions are point blank and always in my interest. When dealing with her staff, they were all very understanding, and extremely pleasurable to work with. Highly recommend this attorney. Why didn't I give 5 stars? Only because this process took so long. Not her fault though due to the other attorney we are/were dealing with.

There is a reason a law firm gets a good reputation and my experience with Catharine Venzon & Chad Pidanick just solidifies this in my mind. I had heard from friends in the legal community that they were aggressive, knowledgeable and the best in WNY…all of which proved to be correct. The legal system is full of its own idiosyncrasies and protocols, which to the uninitiated are confusing. They not only made this much easier for me to understand, they went out of their way to fight for me as my case was extremely complicated (and was made even more so by some outside factors beyond my/our control). There are a myriad of choices when it comes to legal representation here in WNY, you really do owe it to yourself to go with the best possible choice. I truly believe I did when I hired Catharine and Chad for my divorce.

If you want an honest, get it done kind of lawyer, who keeps you informed every step of the way, this is the lawyer for you!! After almost a 3 year divorce battle, and two prior lawyers later, Catharine Venzon and her staff were able to finalize my divorce in 6 weeks! They are honest, upfront, professional and very effective. They truly care about you as a person and don't treat you like a number. They take the time for you and explain everything thoroughly and honestly. Not only did Catharine Venzon get my divorce finalized in 6 weeks but also completed all the paperwork for me to finally be totally free from my husband and debt free. I cannot say enough good things about Catharine Venzon and her staff. If you are getting a divorce, Don't waste your time with any other law firm. She is the BEST!!
