I had entered the USA on a TN visa 52 times in the past 15 years. Suddenly things have changed in both my situation and the US Border Customs processing of these visas. I had applied for a TN a few months ago and I thought that when you apply only one of two things could happen. One you get accepted or two you get rejected. But apparently there is a third possible outcome which is to be arrested. I was not arrested but I was threatened due to information that I did not consider relevant and they did. They sent me home and after that scare I really did not want to enter the USA again. But because of business I had to. So I consulted Richards & Kruger Immigration Law and they processed an application for an O1 Visa instead of a TN Visa. The O1 Visa is for Individuals with Extraordinary Ability or Achievement and I was accepted in 15-Days and I have an O1 Visa for three years. Thank You Richards & Kruger. I am an experienced and intelligent businessman, but take it from me, DON'T THINK YOU KNOW THE SYSTEM OF IMMIGRATION AND DON'T CREATE AND PROCESS YOUR OWN APPLICATION. One mistake or one piece of information presented wrong or omitted by error could end up costing you far more than the cost of a Great Immigration Lawyer such as Richards & Kruger.

I Retained services from this law firm because I needed help getting back in the U.S. I was a student athlete at a community college in NYC. For reason that I still don't know or understand I was turned away at the peace bridge border which made me unable too enter the U.S. too continue my schooling. When I told the firm my situation at first they seemed really helpful and told me If I paid them 1500 $ they would assist me in getting a wavier. So I paid 750 right away and I was told too pay the rest when the wavier was ready to be sent. Once I paid them the 750 everything changed, I told the firm the first time I spoke too them that my situation was extremely time sensitive and that I needed the wavier in time so I can start school in the fall. I sent the firm all the documentation they needed for the wavier and it never got sent. They kept on telling me they needed a check from the RCMP but they wouldn't understand that in Canada RCMP don't do the record checks. This RCMP issue wasted so much of my time with the wavier process even tho I gave them a record check from the Toronto Police that is certified by the RCMP and on top of that the main lawyer Julie Kruger is impossible too get on the phone to talk too. I'd call her office everyday all different times and I could not reach her. Every time I call she's in a immigration trial. The guy that works her desk isn't the most kind or helpful either. As soon as I paid them some money I got the vibe from this firm that my situation wasn't important or a priority to them. I retained there services in February so when august came around and my wavier wasn't sent I had enough. I e mailed Julie showing my frustration and saying if she can't help me I will be forced to go else where because school was gonna start next month and I felt she wasn't helping me like she should. She responded by saying that she no longer was gonna represent me and she was giving me a refund. Not a full refund of the 750 I paid her, but only 250 so I basically paid them 500 $ for nothing. It's not the money that hurt me, its the time wasted because I could have used another firm that would have got me in school on time. This firm has made my situation worse because now i had too scramble too find a new lawyer and wait until fall of 2015 before I can go back too the states and finish my schooling. So for now Im stuck in Canada forced to go to school and play basketball here.

Julie Kruger represented us through the acquisition of my green card. She was very helpful in answering all of our questions and putting our minds at ease that I wasn't going to be arrested or deported. We decided to move back to the U.S. when my wife was pregnant and we were very panicked about the green card process and timing.
