If you want a lawyer that is passionate about attaining the best results for his clients, and has a strong work ethic, then look no further; this is the man you need on your side. In my personal situation I couldn’t afford to pay cash, so I had to apply through legal aid, but suprisingly I got a superior defense, and to be honest, I was astonished that he put forth such a strong defense, that I felt that I had paid thousands of dollars. In past experiences, I have gotten a sub par defense, when dealing with lawyers that will accept legal aid. When I called or emailed him, I got a response within a couple of hours . The crown prosecutor was adamant with me serving my time in custody. Ultimately, we won and Douglas got me CSO , and I am so grateful.
