My family and I hired Robert to handle our fathers estate after he passed. I’ll get to the point: 1) we had to sign the same form 4 times because “someone” either the court or Canada post or he himself “lost” the forms. Take from that what you will. Sketchy at best. 2) the only time we knew things weren’t moving along was after waiting weeks and then US having to follow up to see “what’s next”. If you begin putting 2 and 2 together a picture begins to form. Once we emailed him he was quick to get the same form to us to sign again. If we didn’t follow up. I guarantee we’re still sitting here just waiting. 3)once we quote got the “right form” signed and just kept on top of him. The whole matter was completed in a week tops. 4) it took close to 7 months vs the 1 week it really should have taken. There was no sense of urgency in a sensitive matter. Why? This just seems to be what lawyers do. Put 2 and 2 together as to why a week worth of work took months to get right? Im not too sure it would have went better with another lawyer to be honest. It’s all a racket!
