I hired Ahmed to defend me on a criminal charge (vandalism). I wanted to fight the charges, and brought the case to trial. The day of trial, he found out that the prosecutor had lost EVERY piece of evidence they had, with the exception to one eye witness who attended court. All of the evidence from the police had been lost. I had this case won hands down, but he seemed more interested in pleasing the crown than doing his job. On his advice, I took a plea deal that would leave me with no criminal charge and no real probation stipulations - I've been paying for it ever since. I've been dealing with a judgmental probation officer who treats me like a murderer, have had to pay thousands in "court fees and restitution", and wasted my summer attending weekly anger management classes. This was not worth his low rates, and in hind sight, I would have spent more on a professional lawyer that keeps his clients interests ahead of the crown's. You only get one chance to do this right, do NOT hire Ahmed Ammar if it's a criminal case.

Useless real estate law office. Purchased a house in December, signed assumption papers that got lost. Now it’s almost June and the previous home owner is still receiving my bills. I have to return to the office, which has re-located to a place far from me since losing the paperwork, to re-sign the papers that were lost. They mentioned something about difficulty due to covid. They also overlooked the unpaid property tax from the previous owner, which of course somehow wasn’t their fault either. The were the cheapest lawyers and I got what I paid for.
