Was consistently provided conflicting and incorrect information as well as not being provided important information and details regarding my file. If my sale wasnt closing this week.we would be searching for a different lawyer. Edit to add: in speaking with both my realtor and mortgage broker both mentioned they were met with attitude and lack of professionalism Further addition: 4 months later we are still dealing with the transfer of things that were supposed to have been done by our lawyer. Not entirely sure what we paid them for at this point.

My father paid for a will to be done by and was held by Mr.Kinder. After my dad passed, there were some unexpected things happen as his executors couldn't be found. And by the time I went in to see Mr. Kinder, at my contact with him after the funeral home finding me and giving me my dad's will, Mr.Kinder made a verbal agreement of payment for extra work he had done if and when I got anything. 2 weeks later I get a bill but hadn't received any financial givings from my dad's estate. 1 year later, I needed a letter from Mr.Kinder to close my father's bank accounts and Mr. Kinder held that letter hostage until I paid the previous bill that came with my father paid for when he had Mr.Kinder complete and hold the will. Which he also previously said could be paid if and when I got something. Based on this. I highly suggest go somewhere else for wills and the execution of wills.

I just had the most amazing experience and had to share. I do not write reviews often but this was well deserved. The woman I spoke to was Samantha. Though she knew within the first 30 seconds of our call my situation was a bit more complicated than what they could provide at this law firm, she stayed on the phone with me, listened, had compassion and gave me excellent advice. She than went on to recommend other places for me and provided me names and phone numbers. She didn’t have to, there was no gain for her. Thank you. Over and above, and from reading a few other reviews, this is a great place of business, well done.

They made a mistake on the document i paid them hundreds for, so my marriage licence got delayed weeks. The male lawyer didn't look me in the eye once and wouldn't even give as much as a "hello". The female lawyer is dripping with a passive aggressive attitude. DO NOT GO HERE.

They are a busy law practice but accommodated me and my busy scheduled in a very acceptable time frame and got the work done as painlessly as possible. My wife and I first used Kinder Law back in 1997. We have used them several times since for personal real estate, estate planning and incorporation. Our recent real estate sale and purchase (March 31 2021) was handled with the same excellent professionalism that Kinder always displays. The attention to detail and the disciplined adherence to schedule is second to none. Furthermore, as someone who is employed in a hospital setting, I was personally blown away with the pandemic precautions and protocols in place at Kinder. The safety measures in place from the curb phone call, through to the in-person transaction and back the car were at the highest level of any business we have dealt with since the pandemic began; absolutely awesome! I found them on the internet and decided to go with them based on google reviews. Lesson 1: Never trust small rating reviews (1-100) , it may be written by family and friends, when ratings are in the thousands they are much more accurate. We had to leave and go with another lawyer because of poor follow up and slow responses. This appears to be a small Mama & Papa family owned business where things are done slowly and at there own pace. Lesson 2: always get two other quotes before choosing a lawyer. Their prices seemed to be higher than average when compared to lawyers in Waterloo (Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo) region. Also do not leave any important documents with any lawyer unless you plan on doing business with them. If you leave it, they assume they are representing you and start the billing process. Lesson 3: Be careful with the amount of things you have to ask because prices are tagged on to every question, phone call, paper, paperclip, email, text message etc… Lesson 4: Always ask what their hourly rate is, otherwise you may be in for a big surprise when you get the bill. Lesson 5: If dealing with your realtor, ask them to suggest a lawyer for you, they may partner with a lawyer and because they sold your property their lawyer may provide you with a better hourly rate. Hope this helps anyone to not make the mistakes I did. Good luck!
