The new clerk Jennifer that assists Tim Hilborn is an absolute gem. We have closed several homes in the past; by far Jen was the best clerk we have encountered. I used this lawyer for the sale of my house. I found them to be very unprofessional and sloppy. In particular, the lawyers assistant Hilda Giraldo was very rude and unprofessional in both speaking to her on the phone and in sending correspondence via email, using language that a teenager would use when talking to her friends, not something you would expect from a law firm. Do yourself a favour, find another lawyer.

I had never been to a lawyer before so the decision to actually do so was a very stressful one as I was in a really bad place having been denied my LTD appeal with more than enough medical information from two specialists for completely different issues. Sarah was amazing when I called. She was so good, taking the time to talk to me and ask a few questions. She then told me I would get a call from Robert which I did that very evening! Having obtained a little more info, I went to meet with Rob. Straight away it was like a huge weight was off my shoulders. The simple fact is you are never going to fight an insurance corporation yourself and win. Rob was always there when we had questions, always accessible and always returned calls which I have heard is not the norm with lawyers. He got us the outcome we needed and I would not hesitate for a second to either go back to Rob again or recommend him. If you are denied your appeals claim, don’t even waste your time jumping through the insurance company’s hoops - they will only succeed in wasting your time and giving you the runaround. I would recommend speaking with Rob and setting up an appointment. He is excellent at what he does and knows his stuff inside and out! Thanks so much Rob for all the help you gave us. We are so glad it was you we dealt with.

The comments below very accurately describe Hilda's attitude towards clients which quite frankly cost them a repeat client. We had planned to use them for all of our wills after the purchase of our house and we will now definitely go elsewhere! The first closing numbers were all wrong and we got them the day before close. They did not get the correct numbers until the morning of the closing and when we arrived there were numerous mistakes on the paperwork. Tim was pleasant to deal with however when calling in you are likely to be put in touch with his staff. On talking to Hilda the day before the close I asked if it was normal that it is left to last minute and she asked why I had attitude and refused answer any questions. She then sent me an email saying that I needed to bring a cheque for ~$97,000 when the actual amount was ~$5,000. She provided no apology and I had to talk to Tim Hilborn to correct the file. I cannot stress how unpleasant of an experience this was.

Tim is a nice man, and was very thorough. HOWEVER...his assistant, Hilda, is a rude, unprofessional, cantankerous, unhelpful, ungrateful person who has no business answering phones or interacting with human beings as a profession. She was completely brutal, and based on this I would NEVER recommend this office until she is replaced by someone who has the faculties and capabilities to deal with people with some form of human decency.

Tim Hilborn did not do a proper title search on my property, therefore I had to assume an open permit for a very badly installed septic system. When contacted, he refused to help me in any way to make things right. Wasted my money on this law firm for my house purchase. I would strongly NOT recommend anybody using his services for a house purchase, as he obviously isn't very reliable. I would also like to add that his assistant was very rude to me and has all the personality of a snake. Im told that it was actually her that did the title search that came back clean, which I paid for but was obviuosly not performed. She should retire early so as to make less people miserable.

wow shame on people for trying to bash business and the real estate clerk and do not use their words carefully. sounds spiteful and damage peoples reputation. there could be a law suit in all of this.. of all the times that i have dealt with this office the girl that does all the real estate is the nicest and takes all the blame because of that awful very tall woman that sits in the front who slamed the phone on me more than once, no people skills. reviews are not meant to bash but to give positive feedback and if i was you people i would be careful, look it up in the internet, you can be sued when someone has posted a very harmful ‘factual’ review (or series of them) where the statements are provably false and will most likely harm your business. i like the lawyer and the short real estate clerk heidi not that big tall awful lady that has caused all the trouble for many years. i know because my friends have dealt with that office before. anyways i will go back to give them my business. you awful people have no lives and are spiteful humans.
