Being as I never have dealt with any lawyer stuff before I was very nervous and scared of being taken advantage of, plus being still pretty young I felt like that would be a target as well to be taken advantage of... I previously contacted a few lawyers regarding my situation and after seeing what some of the retainer fees were I was certain that I would have to represent myself. I contacted Reilly after realizing that paralegals could deal with matters in small claims court (up to $35,000 - not so small, but sure) and was pleasantly surprised with just how much valuable knowledge and insight she was able to provide. Reilly asked all of the questions she needed to brief herself on my case and each time she sent a response to the opposing representation I felt she embodied and articulated my point of view so well. My situation has not yet been resolved, but I've gained so much peace knowing that I have Reilly working on my behalf. Jane was pleasant when I first went to see her when I needed to use her services for a landlord tenant issue. However when it came time for the tribunal all she cared was settling with the arbitrator and not taking my situation or views into consideration. She convinced me to take a deal that cost me a couple of thousands of dollars as well as paying her fees to do nothing when all my friends and family told Jane her decision was unacceptable and she was taking had her business and reputation to up hold and making a connection with my tenant and arbitrator and not working for my best interests when I was the one paying for her. Highly not recommended. Shop around first. Her response says it all its not the results Jane needs to be worried about. Its her integrity she cares most about. Very unprofessional on many levels.
