After many years of immigration issues, I used Zemp to process work visas for my wife and I. Once that was complete I moved on to filing for permanent residency using express entry. The entire process was smooth from beginning to end. Very professional and responsive. We worked with two persons who responded to emails and seemed knowledgable on the entire process. They even responded/called on weekends. We got through with everything in record time, obtaining our PR cards before many friends who are still in the process of filing. Like other reviewers have mentioned, they aren't the cheapest however, if you want to be done with the process quickly and correctly then I'd pay the fees anytime.

I came to Zemp law with a unique situation where I was sure I would have to leave Canada in a few days time. I had exhausted all options with work permits and work permit extensions and had paid for three different immigration solicitors over the 2 years previous to this. Not one presented me with a viable solution. The representative at Zemp instantly recognized my problem and had an immediate strategy for me. I was given firm and accurate instruction that was second to none. What I liked about my representative was she did not offer me a bunch options to choose from , she pretty much told my what "we're" going to do. She gave me a specific action plan. I also received e-mail correspondence after my consultation following up on the points we had discussed. I soon received the work permit extension I needed and later acquired Permanent Residency. I am very impressed with this firm.I started working with my lawyer since 2010 she took my son's case. She helped me through the whole process and she never left me without a support. She is the best of the best I have ever found here as a lawyer she helped me to have my son's family to be reunited and live in this Beautiful country of Canada. The manager from the Canadian Embassy in Mexico phoned her and she vouched for my daughter-in-law to be reunited with her husband (my son). The case was a very challenging case. My son had hired another lawyer from Manitoba since 2007 three years had passed and I felt he never did anything for this case to move or progress. My son spent all of his savings with this firm in Manitoba the lawyer was asking for more, and more documents and money for his work and the case was not moving forward at least for three years. By the time he processed the documents he had asked for these documents were expired and so on. Then, the case was staled for about one more year because this lawyer (Manitoba) was suspended by the Law Society of Manitoba. Our frustration was over the top by now and we thought that we will never seen my granddaughters again. I was very frustrated, my son was very sad, and he thought he will never see his family again. We spent so many family events, Christmas, Birthdays, Weddings etc.... without my granddaughters. This situation was very sad . My Lawyer here in Calgary was very professional, very friendly and most of all she was compassionate and expedited the immigration application forms for my family to be reunited sooner that I have thought. I would recommend this group to all of my friends. They are very good in all of the aspects and the best is that they understand each client needs, and situation and they will do the best for them. They are clients oriented. Without a doubt I had a very excellent experience. At the end my family had a very happy ending and they were reunited two years after my Lawyer here in Calgary took this case. We started from square one again. My lawyer here in Calgary was a very committed lawyer and she had a lot of patience. This case was one of the most challenging cases. She worked tireless to finished this case. The first time I used them was to help me with my wife's visitor visa application to bring my wife to Canada after I got married overseas. The applications for the visitor visa of spouses to Canada from the visa required countries have very low success rate. It must be PERFECT before submitting to ensure the best chance of being approved and processed quickly. I am not sure I can properly express how great Zemp Law Group is, but I will try my best. My wife and I started the process to obtain my Canadian permanent residence approximately a year or so ago. We reached out to a couple of lawyers and really had no confidence in any of them before we were referred to Kevin Zemp by family. Upon meeting with Kevin, I vividly remember walking out of the room and telling my wife, “That is our guy.” Aside from the fact that he was familiar with the area in the US that I was born and raised in, his sincerity and compassion was very evident in that first meeting. This review is only applicable to ZEMP Law's policy with potential new clients. I heard their ad on the radio and gave them a call. I was looking for an estimate on a TN Visa application. The receptionist kindly told me that it would cost me nearly $400.00 to speak with a lawyer who would then let me know the price for the TN Visa. She mentioned that they would take off the $400.00 from the bill if I went with them. I called around and was able to find a firm, with a lawyer who spent several minutes with me on the phone and who then gave me a very reasonable quote. I just have no respect for companies that want to charge you for a quote. Fortunately, there's lots of law firms out there.
