I dealt with Michal at Brechin & Huffman - he was friendly & easy to do business with until recently. I expressed my needs to him in a meeting (amending our articles to reflect our business name instead of a numbered company) and his law clerk carried out a master business license instead which is a useless piece of paper that I could've obtained myself for minimal cost (~$100) - instead they charged me $500. They were not cooperative in this matter (regardless of my meeting with Michal, with a witness to confirm my requests) so I've decided to make the switch to a different corporate lawyer.

ZERO stars. This office handled the sale of my and my ex husbands home in our separation. They did an absolutely terrible job. Thankfully my ex husband is an honest man, as the lawyer was all set to sell the house without my consent (my name was not even on the original paperwork they drafted) and were prepared to give him my half of the profits. They also never informed us of certain things we needed to follow up on when selling our home, such as ensuring property taxes are cancelled. We had never sold a home before and trusted our lawyer to ensure that they would walk us through the process properly. We have advised our agent that neither of us would like to work with Brechin & Huffman when purchasing our next homes. Update: it has now been a month of my ex and i trying to work through the law clerk at B&H to get our money back from the new home owners for property taxes we paid after they had taken ownership. The gal at B&H we are working with on this has terrible customer service. She takes several days to reply to emails, if she even does, and she does not return voicemails you leave her. It honestly doesn't seem like she cares. I am absolutely blown away that this office has received so many positive reviews.
