On Feb 29, 2020, I was T-Boned while stopped at a Stop Sign by a careening "out of control" vehicle due to the driver having a seizure. The accident totalled my new SUV but thankfully, all 5 airbags went off or I might not be writing this today. I had many very visible injuries from the impact and while trying to heal up, had decided I would just handle this on my own with ICBC. As the months went by and I couldn’t get ICBC to even pay some medical costs like even my broken tooth, I came across the Klein Lawyers (online search) and I gave them a call. My bruising and swelling had healed up enough I wanted to start with physio and start functioning like a normal person again. I was not getting anywhere dealing with ICBC so hired Klein Lawyers. I was impressed from the “get go” with their professionalism and what they planned to do for me going forward. My case was assigned to Dmytro Shul, who got right on it, securing medical records, getting me payment for costs and getting physio and rehab going. Dmytro knew how ICBC works whereas I was just relying on them acting in good faith. My adjuster wasn’t even interested in talking to me. If I could set the clock back, knowing what I know now about this law firm, I would have engaged them soon after the accident. Maybe I was just super lucky to get Dmytro to look after things and settle my case although I have to admit all interactions I had with Klein Lawyers were positive, professional and helpful. So, a big huge “Thumbs Up” to Dmytro and the Klein team.

I'd like to thank all the legal team at Klein lawyers for their work in the class action against the makers of the Zimmer durome hip replacement. Even though I'm still being poisoned by the metalosis from the cobalt from the one remaining hip replacement. I'd like to have it removed, but I'm worried that the surgery will cause more long term health problems. I guess it's the situation that in the Canadian legal system that settlement amounts are never as high as in the USA. I can no longer work due to problems with the hip replacement I did have replaced and at 60 years old I'm forced to go on Canada disability pension. I guess I'd like to pass on to any other people that are suffering from medical conditions, to never sign on to a clinical trials study without asking lots of questions. I hired the firm of Klein Lawyers to handle my civil claim case in regards to my having a defective hip implant surgery back in 2007 in Mississauga Ontario. My first meeting was with Doug Lennox at their Toronto office and you can't ask for a nicer gentleman to deal with. He is an expert in the field of Class Action Lawsuits. My case was against the manufacturer Zimmer Inc. and ended up evolving into a cross Canada Class Action case. This matter took several years to resolve and involved numerous court hearings throughout the country and mediation meetings, two of which I attended which were lead personally by David Klein and his team. Everyone I dealt with at this firm were true professionals who went out of their way to make me feel comfortable with how my case was being handled. Although the accident could have been a lot worse we were both still in a considerable amount of pain at the time and as such had to take time off work to heal. That’s when we were put in contact with our case manager Gloria. She was extremely helpful from the get-go and to be honest right to the very end. Any time I called or emailed with a question or concern during this whole process (and there were a few since this was our first time in an accident of this nature), she was always quick to answer or reply. Throughout it all I had constant contact with my Case Manager Gloria Corsi. Whenever I needed advice or guidence or had another set back with my injuries; she was there willing and ready to help. I always spoke to her the same day I'd try and contact her. She was flexible with my scheduling and really put my needs before anything else. Called them for consultation regarding my recent accident claim with ICBC. They were unable to assist me with my claim which is fine but the lady on the phone told me that the recent legislation has made it impossible to sue ICBC for any claim related dispute. When I asked the question again to clarify, I was told again that I cannot take ICBC to court anymore. I had heard about the changes at the time but was seeking some more details and I took her word at face value since she works for a law firm. I am not sure what standard these phone consultation associates are held at but it is very dangerous to give out factually false legal information even if the client has not hired you to represent them.
