My family searched for a criminal lawyer online and reached out to Mr. Saggi based on the positive reviews on google. However, he used scare tactics to get us to pay several thousand dollars to him in advance to “represent us” even though we just had some initial questions for him on how to approach a possible case. After answering some questions, he told us to “bring a cheque because this will be pricy” and had us pay him to represent us even though there was no court case. We simply didn’t know our rights and he used that to his advantage. If you go with him please be aware that he may use such scare tactics on you, when he is aware you are unsure of your rights and already worried about going through a criminal matter. It is not right to use someone’s misfortune to manipulate them into paying for services that they do not even require, so proceed with caution.
