I hired Keran as my lawyer when I refinance, sold my condo and purchase my new house. Within the final two hours of closing the sale on the condo, the buyer decided to make an issue of a very tedious matter, holding up the closing. This made me extremely worried, and while also being pregnant it caused unnecessary stress! When I spoke to Keran she firmly said “Do not worry I will take care of this”. I actually wanted to use this firm based on the reviews. However strangely enough my experience ended up being a negative one. I called 2 days ago asking for immigration help in the early morning. Receptionist took down my information and said I will receive a call back. 6.5 hours later which is now the end of the day at 4:30pm, I called back asking for an update. The response is I will receive a call back with further instructions. This of course never happened. I drove to the office yesterday at about 1pm. Again provided my name. The lady at reception went to the lawyers office, it could easily be heard saying that my name sounds familiar. After about half a minute, the lady at reception came back and stated they don't take immigration cases nor offer consultations. This was not acceptable since on Keran's website it clearly indicates the opposite. Furthermore, if this was indeed the case, a simple phone call would have sufficed to let me know. It is not acceptable I was asked for my contact information the other day, and she didnt even have the courtesy to reply back. Instead I was lead on. Keran, I am sure you are a great lawyer, but the way you conducted yourself towards me, and instructed your staff to do the same was unacceptable for a new client looking to use your services.
