0 STARS. The worst experience. Do NOT go there. Unprofessional service: went there for a simple consultation; Hrant Bardakjian spent 1h wasting our time. No only we felt that he did not provide us any information but also he failed to look at the agreement that was in front of his eyes the whole time. By doing that, he gave us a WRONG information about the terms of our lease we had, and we had to see another attorney. When we approached Me. Schneider about the issue and asked for a reimbursement, his aggressiveness was simply shocking. He said: "my employee has only 1 y of experience. Did you tell him to LOOK at the contract?!" Never returned money, offering only 50% of the fee. The worst experience ever.

I have nothing but praise for Maître Schneider as a lawyer. Shortly after selling a duplex in Montréal, its buyers claimed several thousand dollars from me for the repair of what they deemed to be a "hidden" defect in the building. They eventually took me to Small Claims Court for an even higher amount (about $8000) Maître Schneider was quick to see that the so called latent defect was in legal terms in fact an apparent defect. He drafted a very strong letter of demand to which the judge cited textually in its entirety in his eventual judgment that I won. At first, I considered settling with the other party and he very rightly advised me against it. His good judgment, excellent advice, the strength of his arguments and the quality of his services always delivered on time helped me win the court case. I had a dispute with my former In-laws - who reside in Montreal - regarding a claim they made against my recently deceased wife's estate. Living in Ottawa I realized that I needed a good Montreal based lawyer to deal with this matter since, if it escalated, it would have had to go to court in Montreal.
