When he did finally call me back and it was not a good time for me and I asked him if I could call him back in 10 minutes he said that's fine call back multiple times and never got an answer. Left a voicemail finally called me back the next day later on in the day. It wasn't a fantastic time I make time for him and when I just wanted to ask simple questions he was very Snappy and just wanted to get off the phone. After speaking with him definitely not going to use him. Had to ask same question 4 times to get the answer.

The secretary was rude and awful. My family had an appointment booked however after waiting for a call from the lawyer and then speaking to the secretary, it was clear this was not a lawyer office to be handling our matters. She continued to blame us and argue about the appointment time and tell us we were wrong. For the first point of contact it was clear this is not the lawyers office we would like to be involved with.

This man met with me said he would represent me, then ignored my calls and sent me a letter saying he was not interested anymore. The first meeting I had with him he said the opposing party had a gun to my head and basically nothing I could do but get him to help. I had to do all the appeals and so on by myself. Said they were paying me less then welfare. I see this mans face on park benches and it disgusts me. Money talks!

Called to ask for some advice for weather I should take my severance from work or not and the secretary couldn’t get me in touch with him for a week and was quite rude about telling me that it’s not a call in centre... I have to decide before a week wether I was wrongfully dismissed or if it’s worth my time to go after them, thanks for the rude tone and no help whatsoever maybe try being professional and talking to your possible customers like they aren’t just bothering you...

After reading reviews I was hopeful Mr. Van Dyke would be able to advise me on my situation. I repeatedly tried to contact him both through email, and phone. Any calls to the office were answered by a receptionist who seemed annoyed that you were even trying to access Mr. Van Dyke's services. For my efforts I was spoken to like I was stupid, and then totally ignored.
