Very expensive and was not notified of my bill I owed until I got a letter stating I had 10 days to pay my bill in full or else I’d face “legal proceedings” to recover full amount with interest and legal expenses. Would have been nice to have been notified of my bill at an earlier date, before having only 10 days to fork over thousands of dollars for a pretty straight forward contract put together almost a year ago. Good thing I came home in time to receive the letter as I was away for work. Don’t recommend.

Vayia Ellsworth was my fourth and final lawyer in a divorce matter that had lingered since 2011. Litigation with another lawyer began in 2015. It was very messy because of informal agreements made by me and my ex-husband and the work of other lawyers, but Vayia got up to speed in no time. She was very professional, knowledgeable, strategic AND RESPONSIVE which was a serious issue with the other lawyers. I retained Vayia in October 2017 and the matter was settled May 2018. I would not hesitate to recommend Vayia and her assistant Nicole as a very competent, dedicated and hard-working team in family law matters. Thank you Vayia, and Terry Whyte for this referral. Very unorganized for a lawyers office. Our lawyer had us pay for property taxes for the sale and purchase properties and then when the tax office informed them that the purchase property tax was paid, the lawyer tried to make us pay the refund fee. They send you a package after the sale of your property with a mysterious bill tacked on at the end of a hundred page document with no real table of contents to let you know what is in it. Even the bill has another lawyers name on it scratched off with our lawyers name scribbled beside it! Would not recommend not worth the hassle, nor the high price!
