Address your Google search issues along with BONN Law since the immediate number after searching for them brings someone to your firm's call button. Don't throw attitude, speak to someone like they're stupid - while they're being polite despite your attitude - then hang up on someone who had the wrong number while they're still speaking. . Rude and unprofessional receptionists reflect poorly upon the firm. Rainbows and sunshine aren't necessary but that interaction was obnoxiously rude all around. I'm glad I chose Van Dyke. I

Absolutely terrible! I never thought I’d have to fight with a firm so much just to receive invoices for money that was spent. Plus Tanya Davies (the boss) was probably one of the worst people I’ve ever met. She insulted me in court to a point where I had to leave the situation to prevent further problems. The financial department doesn’t respond to emails or phone messages. But they’re certainly quick charge your credit card. Before I fired them I was up to $10,000 for a very simple matter, I mentioned this to others, and other lawyers and they can’t believe that it cost what it did. I still don’t trust the financial department, and I’m still battling with them over charges. Once I secured new council to continue my case they refused to reply to legal documents and emails requesting a transfer of files. There is no excuse for this, Davies is simply being petty and extremely unprofessional.

This review is based on using this firm for buying/selling real estate. We acquired the services of Pretsell Davies Thomson Benton based on a recommendation from someone else, not necessarily based on our own research, and in the end we regretted that decision. Funny enough, I’ve spoken to several other people who’ve had similar negative experiences similar to mine. If you’re looking for a firm that doesn’t return phone calls, doesn’t return emails, doesn’t confirm information with other parties when absolutely necessary in real estate (ie. Insurance company), makes numerous typos in legal documents with wrong names and addresses, claims to mail out documents that you never receive (but can’t provide the original mailed documents for whatever reason)… this is your firm! This isn’t the first time we’ve dealt with lawyers to complete a real estate transaction, so comparing this experience to the other, this was by far the most frustrating transaction we had to deal with. Although I understand that it can get busy running a firm with numerous transactions at once, it was the complete lack of professionalism and attention to detail that really made this experience a dreadful one. Avoid avoid avoid. Do your research and find a firm that pretends to care at least, as this one didn't even try.
