We’re currently utilizing their services, and they seem really slow, and very costly. This for a “separation” and to get my fair share of the home purchased. By the time I’m done paying for their services, I’m concerned it will exceed price of what I’m due back in settlement agreement. I hope I didn’t make costly mistake by hiring them regarding this matter.☹️ UPDATE; I’ve since talked to owners personally via email, and things seem to be moving at a more progressive pace. She is warm, friendly and shows genuine interest in what you have to say. Friendly but efficient, Deirdre set up a consultation appointment for me with Livia Jozsa for the following day. My conversation with Livia couldn't have but more comfortable. Livia is knowledgable and more importantly willing to share that knowledge. She dedicated more time to me then she had to. She also emailed pertinent articles to me after the fact to further expand my knowledge of the law and the procedures involved in getting to court. Why the time comes and I can afford a lawyer, I'll be sure to call Galbraith. If the other lawyers are half as knowledgeable and compassionate as Livia, you can't do better for yourself.

Things are filed on time and well organized, this office operates like a well oiled machine. The staff are competent and polite. It is amusing to see a lawyer school an opposing lawyer in basic family law, not with arrogance or malice but with grace, style and facts. Shannon went on maternity leave just near the ending of my case but I was in amazing care with a lawyer whom I admire so much, upon meeting him I knew Shannon was not kidding when she told me I would be in good care. Paid over 3600$ Vs my ex spouse legal aid for owning her ... despite legal proof of allegations and bills and CAS recommendations ... ex lawyer was entertaining her cell phone for 3hours. 5 inch thick paperwork from social services recommendation, bills and over 17368 texts to prove my case all those references was never action by my lawyer such i paid 360$/ hour... honestly i not recommended. Find someone how will entertain your case not give your case to a legal aid lawyer. My lawyer never step in for my case. Must have some worth lawyers in this firm, unfortunately i may end up with the bad one. Not good in my own opinion, how can a credited lawyer can be walk over a legal aid lawyer... not event fight for my care vs a legal aid who showed up for a 4 ways meeting with her beach bag. Anxious to seal the deal to carry on like long week end. Very disappointed by my lawyer. Never left a finger with CAS report and recommendations such i provide, bills of support for ex spouse and kids. All that money invested for a case, such i was literally humiliated by a legal lawyer who was entertained her phone every single second

Worst Professional experience I have ever dealt with In any matter. I made several requests wih very few of them being handled or even mentioned by Alex. Yes they made a little progress however that was after i had to give them deadlines. They asked for several pieces of past documents that could prove the false allegations in the papers i was served yet they never brought it up to the opposing lawyer. If you want someone to communicate with and waste your time and money talking in circles then this firm is for you. If your case is simple then yes maybe these guys are good however if you need someone to represent you in a hard nose case thats going to speak up and not just try to get you to agree to things that are not true then there not for you. I would give them a zero if it was an option. Absolutely waste of money energy and stress.

Neglectful. Extremely Overpriced. They request other party to move in a "timely manner" when they themselves have no understanding of the phrase. It's been seven months, over ten thousand dollars later which they have produced nothing to the other party. They drafted a separation agreement before a financial disclosure (which is backwards) and the drafted agreement was unrecognizable to the outline we wanted, seems they draft their own agreement under their own guidelines. Pathetic.

Had a consultation with James Studer and even though we were time limited we discussed several topics... Since I am already the court process its advisable to speak with several law firms about mediation or collaboration before going to court. Unfortunately the court system has biases and you really don't want a judge making decisions about your children... He definitely was a professional and even discussed some options in my short time with him which was greatly appreciated... Since this is an emotional time you need to find a lawyer your comfortable with... James seemed to be that type to me... Was honest and sincere that was my first impression of him and law firm.
