5 stars is a massive understatement. AGS is simply put, the gold standard of family law. I needed help so bad and I googled lawyers in my area and found them. Where do i start?! From the moment I called, I was treated with respect and felt completely at ease, when talking about a deeply personal/sensitive issue with Danica, the front receptionist. I had almost lost hope & my dignity with another law firm, before I called AGS Professional Law Corporation. (And I won't mention their names - literally money hungry!!!) Annette is a no-nonsense lawyer, gets straight to the point and is extremely well organized. She responds in a quick & timely manner considering her many clients, that is what impressed me the most!! :) Absolutely no complaints. Completely ineffective counsel. The definition of incompetence my counsel was unable to pull up simple emails and information. She was unable to remember my name or my children’s names. They disregarded critical evidence and information pertaining to my case. If you need a lion to win your case don’t expect this lamb to be much help

Unprofessional, rude, arrogant seems to have no moral integrity. Paid no mind to being factual. Has no skills in dealing with people who are going through considerable emotional pain as is the case in most family law matters. She had been retained many months but knew nothing of the basic info of my child or info about where family and son was from and raised. No concept of the legitimacy of what constitutes a valid agreement that stands the basics of a legal test. No respect for fellow legal counsel or time and money. Agreed to 4 way meeting at 2pm and other then two very brief 5 minute intervals with the other lawyer, left one party sitting in her waiting room and the other in a small room that was suppose to be functioning as a boardroom from 2 pm till 4:11pm waiting on her to appear, she had the audacity to come in and say she had to leave by 4:30 when called out on her lack of professionalism and consideration she proceeded to become combative. Don't be fooled by this over inflated ego.

Only gave it one star because it wouldn’t let me give a zero. This so called “firm” is a joke. You get the old bait and switch. You will first meet with the principal lawyer, and then the day of your court she is no where to be found and you get a lawyer with 5 months experience and not a clue what is going on with your case. No hard feelings towards Larissa, she is just doing what she is being told. Annette should just retire!

Seperation is never a great experience especially when children are involved. AGS law has made the process a lot easier and had quicker. My only regret is not using them from the beginning. Great experience working with Heather Garfinkel in particular, and the rest of AGS staff. I would recommend 10 x over after some bad experiences with other law firms in the Barrie area.

I had the pleasure of going against AGS in my marital proceedings. It worked out very well in my favour as she was very unprofessional, does not know her job and the office staff did all her work for her as she is very incompetent. She is not morally or ethically equipped to handle family law. She coached my ex to try and alienate our children from me. My ex did not get anything close to what she was asking for or what AGS advised her that she was entitled to but got what I had offered her over a year ago. Anyone that uses her is wasting a lot of time and money as she does not mediate to resolve matters but creates conflict to line her pockets.

I had a reasonably good experience as good as can be for separation. It's not a easy time for either party but when you retain a lawyer expecting everything to go your way. Rarely I beleive this happens. You start that way but the law is on the kids side and rightly so. Ignore the other reviews they obviously shooting for the moon and want it all but did not get what they thought they entitled to. AGSLAW is the most realistic firm they won't get your hopes up and just fire you up so as to charge more dollars. They are realistic almost harsh at times but I really don't think it would work any other way. I like the firm and thoroughly recommend.

Not only did I call multiple times and not get answeres but had to find out the woman who was taking care of my file had left. Nobody ever go here. I would never use this lawyer again and would not recommend to anyone who needs a lawyer and cares for what's happening in court. Never listened to my thoughts never cared for my kids rights. Told numerous time different facts and they made up their own. Never listened to anything I had to say for example I live in a house and they kept saying I live in a rooming house.. they even wouldn't adhere to court documents already in place. Bad professionalism bad listening and only want ur money.
