Overall the experience went well. Everyone is very professional. I was a bit disappointed with my share of the claim, after costs and everything else I ended up taking home about 10%. I would recommend this firm to anyone in need. Edit: After seeing this review, Clint himself contacted me explaining there had been an error with he accounting of my case and they were working on fixing it right away. Within a few hours another employee contacted me and informed me they had fixed any issues and that Clint volunteered to lower his own fee to make up to me the mistake made. My experience throughout the entire legal process was good; as soon as we contacted them for the first time, they set up an innitial appointment to go through the details of the motor vehicle accident. Right up front they informed us that we had a good case, explained us the entire process (i.e., timeline, fees, etc), and made it very easy for me for the decision-making process I was going through. As any process of this type, it is about time and waiting... waiting for all parties involved to work on the claim; Litco can work on being more open and more communicative during that part of the process when not much happens. As soon as there was progress being made on all fronts of the case, our Lawyer Mrs. Engel, explained us the process, and a more specific timeline, which definitively helped to give us peace of mind. Mrs. Engel was proactive and kept us in the loop, and always made us feel as if she was acting not just on behalf of us, but in the best interest. I was in quite a bad car accident when I was 7 months pregnant and from the moment I stepped into the Litwiniuk office right up to the settlement day (laps of 3 years) I felt nothing but complete and overly satisfied with their service. I met with another firm prior to speaking with Litwiniuk & Company and when reviewing my case with the first firm it really felt like they only cared about getting the most money out of my case. Lawyer was smart and efficient, actually knew what she was talking about. Accounting lady was kind and understanding. This person we had dealings with in the beginning was boarder line rude, arrogant and had no intention to help with case whatsoever. I asked her a question about how certain process worked and she answered yes. It was not a yes or no question at all. She was clearly not listening. She was so difficult to get a hold of too. If I reached out 3 times she would return my call once that is if I am lucky where as the lawyer didn't take more than an hour to respond in most cases. There were many hiccups along the way(mostly due to frustrating systematic BS, not because of the firm's inability)and there were many times when we questioned whether hiring a lawyer was worth the commission and longer time it took to reach the settlement but if you have no option but to hire one I think they might be the best choice in Calgary.

At the suggestion of my coworker I pursued a personal injury claim after a motorcycle accident. I first tried contacting a different lawyer who never called me back after the first phone call. I tried calling and emailing that lawyer again and he agreed that I had a case but didn't seem to care to pursue it, so I looked to Litwiniuk & Company instead. I used the contact form on the webpage and was called soon after for some more information about the accident. The initial appointment was thorough and informative (and had complimentary beverages!) They were even prepared with a Google maps printout of the area of the accident (complete with street view) with some arrows drawn on top, so that they could fully understand how the accident happened, and this really impressed me. I was sent follow up emails in the following months and never had to wonder as to the status of my claim. I recently received a settlement above both mine and the law firm's expectations which was pleasing. The man whom hit me was drunk driving without insurance and I don't know where I'd be without Breeya's help. This layer did not fight very hard for me. What they told me my settlement was worth, and what is was actually worth was staggering. My body is in so much pain every day, and they tell me this is all we can do, or we can wait and take it to court and probably get less in about 5 years. Not happy. I was hit by a car while biking a few years ago. When I received a low offer from the adjuster of the car insurance company responsible for hitting me, I felt at a loss, knowing I deserved more for my injuries. I have never required legal aid, but Litco Law offered a free consultation, and while I felt nervous because I knew nothing of legal frameworks, they were able to comfortably answer all my questions and let me know what their process was like. There was absolutely no pressure to sign anything. When they gave me the paperwork to think about the decision, they left me with open lines of communication and continued to answer my further questions. I felt completed at ease and like I was putting my case into the hands of trustworthy people when I took them on as my lawyers. Throughout the multi-month process, they continued to update me, and check-in on my recovery almost monthly and it eased my stress considerably when they took over. I didn’t have to speak to any adjusters or the insurance company again. There were no loopholes - it was a completely straight-forward process. In the end, my settlement came to much more than I imagined and I felt it was a fair settlement for my injuries. I 100% would not have gotten anything close to the same offer without their help. Let me start off by saying that I have been patient and without problems (I think) for their legal team. So I would hope that Im being thoughtful when explaining my review. I found Litwiniuk and Co, after doing research on various firms. I was even recommended a different firm that I did interview. In the end I chose the wrong team. Not a fan . Would have given a 1 star review, but ultimately they did settle an outcome in my favor. I rate as a two because I don't like the business model...Little communication with a lawyer. But there was support from the team employed throughout. In the end, all that matters is a favorable outcome. But I mean my lawyer did all his communication via email, never called once. When there was communication via email, it was short and without context. The only problems I might have given them, was with my constant followups... that were based on their own deadlines. Again, I had a favorable outcome. So if none of this matters to your own legal experience, then perhaps this is a good choice for you. I will not recommend Litwiniuk and Co to anyone in the future.

I was in an accident in 2018. When I first went to Litco, they told me while I certainly had a case, it was their ethical obligation to let me know that I pursue the case on my own. This is much appreciated, as they certainly didn't have to tell me this. I did so and got the run around from the defendants insurance (TD insurance) company for a few months. After that, I decided I would lawyer up, as the defendants insurance did not care to perform due diligence as they didn't even call the witness. Litco was great, they kept me informed where we were every step of the way. Even if they were waiting for something out of their control, they kept me informed by email. In the end, they won the case, so I am grateful that I went with Litco.

Please read my entire review and do your research before decided to hire Litwiniuk and entrusting them to handle your accident claim. I suffered a life threatening STEM Heart attack after I was involved in a motor vehicle accident. I told the case works at Litwiniuk that we were going to lose our home as we couldn't afford our mortgage anymore as I can't work at all. I had no proper communication from them in over 3 months. When I finally do speak to an attorney at Litwiniuk he tries to tell me that my condition was pre-existing where as I had actually been tested approximately one year prior and cardiologists determined my heart was in flawless condition with ZERO heart attack associated risk. My heart is now operating at approximately 75-80% whereby 20-25% of the heart tissue has been killed off due to blood clots blocking several arteries in the heart which prevent oxygen from getting to these areas of the heart. I was diagnosed with diastolic heart failure in June 2018. My life on a daily basis involves immense amounts of pain requiring substantial doses of pain medication just to bring the pain down to a tolerable level. I spend 12-18 hours each day in bed as any physical activity can cause excruciating heart pain that will have me seeking help in the ER. Their attorney decided to tell me patients with broken bones or an amputation are somehow worse than a patient that is told they have a life expectancy of 5-10 years. I'd go else where as these guys lack proper customer service. I've played phone tag with their case managers for over a month.

To be honest, when I was first in a accident I wasnt sure what to do or expect. The insurance companies seemed pushy and they were hard to get ahold of. When I arrived the day of my consultation everyone there was very welcoming and easy going. It wasnt your typical stuffy office atmosphere. Very disappointed with their work as they are very hard to get ahold of and everyone that I was speaking to was very rude to me. Filled out the claim form on their website and did not hear from anyone. Called them many times with no answer as well. I have never had a worse experience with a company, it was awful, would give less than 1 star if possible.
