North Prairie built our new house we bought just a few months ago, and we’re very accommodating with including us in the customized decisions, getting things done a week before said possession date and getting any requests looked after within reasonable time-frame. They made one mistake of a window location not to plan, but upon request moved it promptly to the correct location and completed it all within possession date. This all done with quality workmanship to last, and good customer service. I’d recommend this builder to people for sure, they made the whole process a very smooth transition and we’re happy with our product :)

Please save yourself the headache and DO NOT buy from North Prairie. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Their customer service is terrible! They may start off friendly but once they have your money they do not care. They build their homes quickly and when mistakes are made they refuse to take responsibility or even offer to do anything. I had electrical issues with my new North Prairie home after only 2 years that could've started my house on fire. The cause was negligence during construction and they refused to even come assess the problem. If you want peace of mind when building a house, do not choose North Prairie!

We love our North Prairie home. The thing that has impressed us the most is the level of service we have received after buying our house. During the possession they walked us through our home, explaining all the different systems and maintenance items that we needed to look after. They also had us inspect all of the fit and finish to ensure that everything was good and when it wasn't they scheduled someone to correct it. Since moving in they have been good to deal with correcting minor issues that have come up. They have stood behind craftsmanship even after we took possession.

Our experience with North Prairie Developments has been amazing. Not only has their team been professional and responsive, but they have exceeded our expectations. When my husband and I decided to purchase our home we assumed we would get the keys on possession day and that would be that. Not with North Prairie Developments. The entire team (Bryan, Karen, and Robin to name a few) have been present throughout this whole journey. We received a complete walkthrough of our home on possession day—complete with instructions and demonstrations of how to use our furnace, how our sump pump works, and what to keep an eye out for on our home's exterior—and another as we approached the 60 day mark. They have endless patience for our multitude of questions (I'm sure they've answered them 1000 times before) and we couldn't be happier with our home, their service, or the community they're building. We started looking at new homes last year and we liked the idea of a bonus room above the garage. After looking at the website and viewing the house in person, we loved North Prairie's "Landon" design. North Prairie and real estate agent, Jordan Barry, made the process of building a new house (from scratch) painless. We bought the house before NP broke ground, so we got to customize all our features and upgrades. We have been in our new house for exactly 4 months and we couldn't be happier. Ashley, North Prairie Customer Support Coordinator, has been fantastic in keeping in touch and following up with any questions or problems. Two thumbs up!

I bought a new Stonebridge condo from this company and they've been good to me so far. Some issues required more attention than I'd have guessed but ultimately, they have kept me fully satisfied. Their building fit and finish stood above similar units I've seen and their layout planning is excellent. Building construction is basic code requirements, some decisions such as 24" stud spacing and 3/8" roof sheathing leave a bit to be desired. I missed some items on final walk though and when contacted about a month later they made the repair with no fuss. North Prairie's customer support system is very easy to access and they have a physical office in Stonebridge which makes dropping keys off painless. I would recommend North Prairie to family and friends.

I purchased a North Prairie show home and couldn't be happier. I searched and searched for the "perfect" home and felt defeated. I walked into the North Prairie show home and had to have it. It was so beautiful inside and had everything I could need and want in a new home. I love the detail and the design that went into the house. Someone carefully and thoughtfully designed it, so it made sense and so it works for a family. I did not want to purchase a new home in fear of poor quality, poor customer service and a home warranty that doesn't ever seem to be in the buyers favor. North Prairie proved me completely wrong. I have never seen such better customer service. From the walk through a week before move in, to the walk through the day of move in, to still checking in 2 months later, customer service has been top notch! They pride themselves on customer service and are rocking it. They are easy to get ahold of if you have a concern or a simple question. The kitchen tap leaked and a plumber was there the next day to have it fixed. I had another question about the plumbing and the plumber answered all my questions and took time to make sure I had no further concerns. I have been in the house almost 2 months and the quality of the home appears to be great. This was a such a pleasant experience, I highly recommend North Prairie. They will have my business and my positive review going forward.

The sales manager, Angela, was an incredible help throughout the entire construction and selection process. The only reason this is not a five star review is that we had some warranty work that needed to be done. The people at North Prairie were excellent, however, the contractors did not appear to hold the same high standards that NP does. There was little to no clean up after the warranty work was completed and the workmanship does not match the original quality that was presented to us upon purchase. Had been watching real estate postings for nearly a year preparing to purchase our home when we came across one for the Aria from North Prairie. We instantly loved the layout online and had our realtor get us in to see in it person. The finished model we saw was beautiful but had a bit of a smaller yard than we had hoped for. Thankfully she was able to find the same floor plan that had just been framed in the same neighborhood with the perfect yard so we snagged it up right away. North Prairie was great in helping us do a few customizations that we wanted and everything turned out amazing. We had been through a few of the other builders in the neighborhood as well but personally found the finishes with North Prairie to be a little higher quality than some. We love it, can’t say enough great things about our new home and the customer service we’ve received from them.

My wife and I recently purchased our fist home from North Prairie. The experience we've had in dealing with North Prairie has been extremely positive. After perusing local real estate listings, I quickly noticed that the value North Prairie offers for their homes is hard to match in the new home market. The company has been great to deal with. Angela the sales manager was very accommodating to our preferences and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. The construction manager who did the walkthroughs with us took his time explaining everything to us and helping us look for defects in the workmanship that needed to be fixed prior to possession (and there weren't many at all, by and large there were only paint flaws to fix). The post-possession follow up from North Prairie has also been fantastic. Danielle has responded to our questions and minor concerns very quickly and they've been resolved within days. In short: I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Their care and attention to detail, both in the building process and in looking after their customers, are top notch. If the day should come that I am looking for another home, I will be checking with North Prairie first.

They were responsive and helpful throughout the building process, and continuously (and happily) accommodated any changes we wished to make along the way. After we moved into our home, they have continued to ensure our move and everything within the home has been working smoothly. Danielle, especially, has been extremely helpful and accommodating with any of our questions we have about living in a new house.

Buying a new construction home there is always going to be minor touch-ups and repairs that are going to arise. All it takes is one call to their Customer Support team and they will fix the issue for you in a timely matter. We will be sure to recommend this builder to friend's and family! Every good review on here is because north prairie pays people in gift cards to write good reviews because the truth is is that they make bad houses. I live in a condo built by them that is poorly made and not holding up after five years. It’s so bad that no one will list it too sell because it’s built by North prairie and won’t sell because of the bad quality. Stay away and buy from someone that actually cares and makes good quality places that stay together longer then five years.

We are happy owners of our new North Prairie Home! Our experience with North Prairie has been great. We found that our needs were met all along the way and that their was a great deal of attention to the fine details of our new home, down to the colors of the flooring to the walls. Even now that we have had our home for 6 months we still feel that our needs are being met. We emailed the builder the other day about getting window screens and they replied to us right away and had some ordered for us. We are use to living downtown, but this area has everything, it was a great decision to relocate.
